The Dark Man

WARNING: THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT. In the slightly dark room lay the man of power (Nicholas Alviero Ross). He made the law and gave the rules. And then there was a woman(Zhavia McKay), who also made the law and gave the rules. She had the power to cast a man with just a look. Will he tame her down with all the power he possesses? Will she bend to his rules? Or will he bend to hers? But then, he has a superiority. He is a jealous daredevil. "She's mine, my property, mine alone, no one else's". Nicholas clenched his fist hard. His eyes darkened with anger. "What's mine cannot be yours". He said in a dangerous tone as he looked straight at Damon with those devouring eyes. How did she do it? How did she bring out that part of him? How did she turn a cold-hearted beast into a mindless dog?

Chapter 16 Fantasy 1

GENEVIEVE MIDDLETON - Daughter of the Duchess of Springfield, CEO of Spring wines (Obsessed with Nicholas).

"You dare show your face here after disregarding my invitation, Genevieve". Meredith said as she walked from the entrance of the room that held the spoilt brat she was talking to.

"What nerve!" She paused for a while to look at Genevieve that wore black jeans with a red shelf Brazier covered with a black leather jacket and very high slim heel boots.

She walked to her seat with pride as she sat.

"What is your excuse, Genevieve?" Meredith spoke fiercely. "You've just missed the only chance you can ever get to talk to Nicholas".

"I'm sorry, aunt. I had to attend to important matters, besides, Nicholas is in the country, he's all mine". Genevieve spoke reassuringly. "Now can I hug you? It's been so long". She pouted as she closed the gap between them.

Brows rose to her words. "Don't think you can do whatever you want just because I allow you to". Meredith spoke calmly. "All your privileges can be gone with just a clinch of my fingers, think twice, Rybka".

Genevieve was speechless. She had no idea how mad Meredith was. She watched her exiting the room furiously.

"Rybka?" Genevieve muttered. "Even my mum can never call me little fish, she wouldn't dare". Genevieve started towards the door, still confused.

"How rude". The young woman said warily as she exited the room.

IN NICHOLAS ROSS'S ESTATE

The long table was filled with different dishes of different sorts and kinds. Nicholas sat at the end of the dining hall, which table consist of twenty-four chairs. The chefs from different parts of the world arranged themselves in the left part of the room, and maids stood at the right.

They were dressed in spotless white and were ready to present the dishes each of them had prepared.

It was like a feast, but rather a royal feast for just one man. He ate like a god. He was dressed in black. He was relaxed and wasn't ready to start eating.

He watched the transparent glass before him being filled with a red liquid. The man that served the wine wore black gloves as he touched the bottle. As far as he was concerned, this dark man had just one allergy, Dirt.

Bennett of course stood directly beside him by the left, hands crossed backward as he watched the man too.

"This is one of the best wines, sir, it is the screaming eagle Cabernet 1992, and It is a six-liter bottle of Cabernet from Napa Valley". The man spoke with his hands bent backward as he explained his profession.

Nicholas looked at the glass without touching it. He took his time to carefully observe the glass as he reached for it. He swirled the glass gently and sipped elegantly, letting the fruity taste drown in his tongue for a while before swallowing.

The first chef stepped forward to present his dish, with a maid directly beside him, ready to serve as he described the meal.
