Chapter 228

Powerful compulsion filled Mora once again. The only thing that kept her from bolting for the door was her willpower. She bowed her head, closed her eyes, and grabbed the edge of the bathroom counter to stop herself from complying with the mystery magic's wishes.

"Mora? Should I call someone? Are you all right."

Sharon's panicked stare forced her to force her eyes open.

"Did you feel that? outsider's trance, powerful."

"Feel what? That is impossible." Sharon's frown deepened, and she shook her head. "You really don't look good."

"A powerful magic, Sharon. It's calling me."

"Here in the cavern? I don't think anyone can cast a spell from the outside. We are protected by outsiders, and you know that... have you been drinking again?"

Mora shook her head.

"You should go home and take a rest. You look like shit, I will cover you from the head chief." Sharon said as she entered one of the stalls.
