After waiting for another hour, Herbert and Elmer gathered with a dozen other werewolves to stand guard as they prepared to lead their brothers in a crusade north of the western region.
They would travel to the nearby townlets in search of a feral camp.
Herbert stood beside his friend. Alpha Elmer declared to the werewolf forces before him, "Waterway Village is fifteen miles west of here. You will be immersed in an all-day sprint to bring aid to your fellow combatants on the battlefield. You are being called upon because the ferals and demons have brought forth a powerful warrior of great ability that has knocked fear into the spirits of your fellow fighters."
