Later, as Blanca's team and she was questioning the city's coven, Dimitri went on his own mission. She tried to remind herself of Dimitri's insistence that she was determined and creative. Right now, stuck in this circular conversation with the old one-eyed witch in their Witch Cavern, in Northern Mountain's lair. Blanca wasn't so sure she was the right person for the job.
They arrived at the coven's lair that morning, The patrols emptied a set of large stone openings and then marched down a long, dingy passageway. As soon as the entrances shut down behind them, all the incantation and background noise disappeared. Except for their abrupt footsteps, the foyer was quiet. Then another set of openings unexpectedly unlocked in front of them, and they entered an enormous, majestic hall with a white stone floor. This must be it, Blanca thought.
