She opened her mouth to say something, but what could she say? She didn't know who she was, nor did she know where she'd come from. She was a hybrid.
"Who me?" She said it with perfect innocence, a smile on her face. "I'm just a regular girl from the frontier demon hunter group."
"We both know that's not true, Blanca."
She kept smiling. Even if she had known something, she wouldn't have told him. Sure, they'd recently worked together with his friend Selvo to save Cherry and his son, but Blanca was living under no delusions that Liam was trustworthy. Uncle or not, he was too ambitious to gain or use Selvo's demon magic to level up in the council. And he was too loyal to his pack. That loyalty has obviously paid off. It must be the reason he'd been put on the council.
