In this domain of spirituality, it was said to be an instantaneous reaction to pain. But for some reason, it still stings even after everything that has happened and It's been a full day since I fought Y.

Unbelievably so he has the strength to break rocks with his hands and attack at lightning speeds that would render any attempts of dodging useless. Everything felt surreal and hard to comprehend.

I stood right after I was stabbed in the heart once more and thrown off to a mile away, once again thrown away towards the woods.

After that, I just ran for my life like nothing else mattered. As much as I want to grow stronger I don't have the capabilities to properly fend off his attacks. In the meantime, placing traps around the areas that I have been to ensure that whatever triggers them I know who it is.

Boooommmmm—

Soon enough explosions happened from behind. A sense of trepidation came over me, fear crept up with every second that passed. The unhinged emotion of horror continued to swirl around.

I hear the trees creak with sudden force as a silhouette begins to speed up toward me. I knew there wasn't much time that I could do before he reached me.

I unfurled my hands and placed them on the ground. Letting my imagination surge as I imagined a solid wall to defend me.

After yesterday, Y told me the biggest factor for making magic effective is to imagine with vivid interpretation to allow mana in my body to recalibrate itself into the form I want it to be. It was hard at first however, over time I managed to make things such as a fireball, or hydro pump.

'I'm not enough' is what I thought I needed, something stronger, bolder, and faster. So last night I formulated a stone wall that would allow me to protect myself efficiently.

My mind was overclocked from the thought and a large wall began to emerge from the ground made of earth. It looked solid but was hammered into a million pieces with a large bony hand that struck it with force.

From the rubble that blew far and wide a skeletal face with a toned down facial structure that has hollowed eyes with flickering eyes that imitates a candle's flame in the dark that flew past and grabbed my face as Y skidded down fast pushing my face on the ground and after doing so threw me towards a large tree.

—Thump

A resounding noise resonated as I hit my back on a large tree. I felt the pain in my face, everything felt numb for a moment as the world spun from the impact.

I once again pressed my hand on the ground and spikes began to emerge from the earth with sharp points that impaled leaves and stones as they passed making their way to Y.

With a sudden whip of his hand, the spikes stop and revert their course as they come back with pebbles that were destroyed to pieces.

I covered myself from the incoming debris that flew at high speeds that devastated the landscape around me, although pain ravaged my body I was getting used to the feeling.

The hail of stones stopped and quickly unfurled my hands as I did my skull was penetrated and shoved into a tree.

That was the end of the second day.

I woke up in the material world where I still stayed inside the infirmary. The triplets that took care of me visited me from time to time updating me on situations around the area. The clouds made of crows were still expanding and gathered in great numbers as they delivered messages throughout the country.

I gave a deep sigh and allowed fresh air to take over. I was mentally exhausted from the fight in the spiritual realm, it felt like I was running straight for weeks with no rest at all.

A smoky apparition appeared in front of my bed and a bodiless head was floating about.

"You did better than yesterday when you got stabbed in the heart at least five hundred times, this time I think you got off with just three hundred or so." Y engaged in an ephemeral voice that slightly echoes in the room.

"I don't think I would last ten stabs to the heart in the material world, thank you. So what comments can you give" I asked for his opinion.

"First of all, I get that you are no match for prowess against me but you should at least try to fight properly, don't be afraid of pain because when you took the oath you were bound for more than a hundred thousand stabs to the heart," Y said so.

"I suggest you study how to efficiently use your traps and arcane skills that would incorporate your style of fighting. And get your body in good shape before we go down to the basement." He finished his review

I was silent. I didn't know how to make use of the information, it's scary to take everything into your own hands. Things are just different when you are the one facing a large problem on your own, even dissecting it into smaller parts would prove to be difficult.

"I can never be brave enough to face them head-on, I see the opportunity but not the strength to see it through, I'm scared."

"Always be scared Enzo, fear is the reason why courage exists. Without fear, everyone would do stupid things without consequences."

"I'll keep that in mind" In a solemn I replied.

"Have a good night's rest" He slowly disappeared leaving me alone in the room. The smoke evaporated to thin air, the indication that he was out for today.

'Does he even need to sleep? Don't really care but I am curious' It was an interesting question more so a ghost that needs to sleep. 'Then again he probably isn't a ghost, he has super strength and powers that could probably outclass people in the kingdom, though I don't know anyone except Styx and Marie but I think Y is on another level.'

I focused on myself and thought about what could be improved in the situation that would allow me to last more time and get stabbed less in the heart.

It took a long time for me to decide on the course of action. I calculated what I needed to do the next time I went inside the domain. Things would be much more hectic and I needed to continue the pace of learning new things to properly help me overcome such an ideal battle scenario for me.

The next day, I stood outside of the house, it looked a bit gloomy and I could see cracks crawling at the side of the mansion. Things were becoming chaotic from the things I heard from the twins, I needed to go down the basement fast. I don't know what lies inside however, I just know it will help me, and it definitely will.

Inside the spiritual realm things were tense as well. Pressure began to build up in the atmosphere that suffocates the air from which I breathe like being pressed against trees and a strong hand, things were difficult before they even started. I thought about the plan that I formulated in my mind, trying new things that would allow me to gain an upper hand for just a moment.

"Get ready Enzo, every day it will just keep getting harder and harder don't falter your words now," Y said to me as we get ourselves ready for the fight.

In a decisive battle, a moment is just what you need to win the fight. When Y lowered his hand he quickly went straight to me. He does very abruptly leaving me no time to think, but this time I was prepared.

I imagined a large thick wall that grew from the ground that held the earth with overwhelming strength, but it was shattered in just an instant. Once it did I spewed great amounts of flames and directed it at Y who just finished breaking the wall. I elevated a gigantic wall once more and prepared myself to get hurt by the avalanche of rocks that would be blown away, so I decided to make a Wind Wall.

'Please break the wall, please do' I thought to myself as I tried to see what would happen once this plan fails, it was hard to trust myself as I have little confidence with regard to fighting overpowered monsters.

A loud explosion was heard, and the gigantic wall began to crumble with boulders falling from the sky, it was raining hail of rocks as they descended from the great sky about to envelope everything on the ground leaving it most likely devastated and decorated in an earth-style architecture.

It might look bad from the way things are looking right now, but for me, it was a good thing this is what I was waiting for. The same attack that I inflicted upon the first time I encountered Marie, the traps that lie dormant in the debris that scatter across the battlefield, but this time I stacked the traps. I don't know what was going to happen.

But I bet it was going to be explosive.
