"I have to tap into it, you don't have to worry, it's all under my control".

"How do you want to do that?" Botan asked.

The Hokage looked at Botan unconcerned, "You know what I am".

"My lord, you can't use your powers" Aoi squeaked.

"We can get another telepathic mage" Botan added.

"We agreed that no one will know about him until the right time comes" The Hokage looked at Kai, "It'll be fine Botan".

"We are dealing with chaos here" Botan gritted his teeth.

"I am aware".

The Hokage concentrated on Kai, "Can you hear me?".

Kai was shocked, the Hokage didn't say anything but he can hear his voice in his head, "How the fuck is he doing that?" Kai thought.

The Hokage laughed, he was talking in Kai's head and he can hear every Kai's thought, "Am in your mind now, I can hear and feel your thoughts".

"But are not saying anything, how.."

"Am talking in your mind and only you can hear me", The Hokage adjusted himself on his chair to relax, "Listen to me Kai, I'll bring up memories that'll make you summon your power".

"How sure are you that'll work?" Kai fidgeted a bit.

"I don't know but you also have to try to be under control, are you ready?".

"Ok, yeah" Kai closed his eye, his heart throbbed very fast.

"Easy Kai" Hokage's voice echoed in his head, hovering simultaneously.

Kai felt himself drowning in a black thick liquid, he couldn't shout or make a noise because his voice was muffled, suddenly he fell out from the thick liquid.

He didn't feel any pain or a thing, he opened his eyes and he was in a white background that stretches to infinity, it was like a matrix.

"Where the heck is this?" He stood up and looked around, but he didn't see anyone, "Hello", his voice echoed.

"Hello" his voice kept resonating, he walked forward trying to find out if there was a way out of where he was and for like 20 minutes he felt like he wasn't going anywhere.

"Where the fuck is this place?", He sat down on the floor, there was no noise or sound of anything, everywhere was silent, he laid down cause his back was already aching him and at that point, he heard a little clank as he laid down, then he checked and it was his button, Immediately Kai got an idea, he tore the black button off his jacket and kept it on the floor, "This should be my starting point", he started walking again and suddenly he heard a disturbing noise under his foot, he stepped on something and he knew it, he raised his leg just to see the button he kept on the floor.

"This is just a loop, am walking to nowhere" Kai found out that he was just moving in circles.

"Where did he put me..." Kai's thoughts were intercepted when a hologram appeared before him, it was like television and was making some screeching noise as if it was having a signal problem.

Immediately something familiar popped up on the hologram, it was his past life when Sato and his gang bullied him.

"Why am I seeing this?" Kai wondered, "This is not going to work, am already over this", he turned away from the hologram, "What is he doing in my head?".

"You don't have to kill my son".

Kai turned swiftly and saw a woman on a familiar couch begging and pleading for her life, newspapers were scattered on the floor, a familiar newspaper, a body on a green top slumped near the woman, the newspaper was soaked with blood coming out from the body. Kai's heart clenched as he went closer, he was shocked by what he is seeing, "Mum?", The woman was begging for her life and happens to be his mum.

A pistol corked and the figure holding it pulled the trigger directly at her forehead.

"Mum!" Kai screamed, he watched his mother fall with a hole on her head as blood flowed from it.

Kai felt weak, his legs were shaking and he can't hold it anymore, he fell to his knees, he couldn't believe what he has just seen and was numb.

"Mum" His lips were dry, tears dropped from his eyes, "Mum", Finally he fell to the ground.

Back at the office, the Hokage jerked up, Botan and Aoi stood up in a flash.

"My lord, what happened?, Why are you awake and Kai...." Botan trailed off, he saw tears dropping from his eyes.

The Hokage shut his eyes, he twitched as pain surged through his head, Aoi noticed it, "This is not good".

"What happened in there?" She asked.

"I need a cup of water" His voice was strained, Aoi took the mug on the desk and poured out water for him, "Here".

The Hokage gulped it and exhaled, "I touched the wrong memory".

"What is this supposed to mean?" Botan was already worried.

"He's probably seeing another timeline of what will happen to him if he wasn't saved the day he was attacked", the Hokage looked at Botan and Aoi, he saw that they didn't understand what he said.

"He's in the past but the past that never happened".
