The Curse of Time (Harry Potter Fanfic)

Attention: I use a translator and ChatGPT in its free version to write, so any constructive feedback is welcome. I will remove any messages with insulting content. If you have negative feedback, please share it politely. Harry Potter belongs to JK Rowling and not me. Summary: She was only two years old when her life changed. She is known as the smartest person in the wizarding world to most. To others, she is someone who willingly shares her knowledge. And to some, she’s a person who inspires envy, though they do not understand the side effects of such a curse. Information: -Our protagonist is Neville Longbottom’s older sister. -While our protagonist doesn’t possess a talent like Dumbledore’s, she has an intelligence equal to or even greater than his. -The harem will not be large (maximum of 3 or 4 members). -I am trying to base this story on the books, but please remember this is a fanfiction, so I may choose to alter some rules of this world. -I could also take a fan as inspiration for some elements but I promised that I would not copy the content. -Updates will be inconsistent, but I will try to avoid more than two days between chapters. I said TRY. -And finally, enjoy reading, and I hope it’s a pleasant experience.

Bring Hermione to the support course

Once the banquet was over and we arrived in our common room, all the students cheered me like a heroine when the only thing I did was come up with a plan against the troll.

Many students were interested in my katana, and I told them that I would plan a class where I would talk about the different ways of using magic around the world. Most of them wanted to attend because it's a subject not covered in the history of magic, but it's still very informative.

Many wanted me to describe what happened and what I saw, but not wanting to be a storyteller, I just explained in a few sentences how my plan unfolded and, for the curious, what the troll looked like.

I know that many would start to exaggerate and add action scenes that didn't happen, but since I don't even want to talk about it much, I just told the short version.

To avoid students, I wanted to go to the needs room but we can not walk in the corridors at night so I headed to the room.

Mary followed me, and once I got into the room, I thanked her for using the summoning spell to bring back my katana.

The next day, when I arrived at the support course, I was applauded by all the houses, with the strongest applause coming from Slytherin because they could have encountered the troll if I hadn't intervened.

I told Hermione, who was with me, to sit down, take notes, or do something else, but in any case, to listen to how the course worked.

"I warn you now, I'm not answering any questions about the troll," I said.

Some hands went down, and the class truly began. This course was designed for students from the first five years. I received a question from a student and answered it. I followed an order by year: the first-years would ask their questions, then it was the second-years' turn, and so on. After the fifth-years, we'd start again with the first-years.

The class was quiet. I answered the students' questions in a simple and easy-to-understand way, but I cannot force them to retain the information; only they can do that.

I glanced over at Hermione, who was taking notes on what I said, but I noticed that she understood from the start where I was heading by inviting her to this class.

Once the class was over, I asked Hermione to come to me, and as soon as it was just me, Marie, and Hermione, she started speaking.

"I now understand that I was at fault when I tried to help Ron. I should have been more empathetic and not treated him like a fool in the way I spoke to him."

"It's good that you understand this. Now you must go to him and apologize for the way you spoke to him. And if he doesn't accept your apology, you simply move on."

Some days later, I could see Harry, Ron, and Hermione together, with a friendship that had blossomed from Hermione's apology and Ron's acceptance.

According to Hermione, Ron felt a bit guilty for what he had said, realizing it was mostly driven by emotion.

The important thing is that Hermione now has another friend besides me and Marie, because although it's useful to be friends with us, she should still have friends her own age.

Author's note: I will now publish a new chapter every other day, as with the resumption of classes, I won't have much time for myself.
