New Stats

Looking at the bright crystals, Zhihui could not help but smile. Just mining a portion of this crystal, mine will have her set for the rest of her extended life. But she did not want to stay here and mine these crystals for a long time. She wishes to explore more of this cave, as she knows that the Greater River Sect are known for keeping information related to their sources of income very tight.

That is why it took her a lot of effort to even know that there was a crystal mine in this forest, but its exact location was too hard for her to get in her past life. As she thinks of this, she heard something land on Mors hands. As she turns around and looks at Mors, only to see him having a pickaxe in his hand.

"No need to give me that look, we need to mine some of this for our own personal funds. So, I will stay here and mine this. But I do say, you should explore this cave just in case there are some treasures for us to use"

Mors said softly as he looks at Zhihui, as he receives a warm smile from her. It is at times like that she thinks that Mors can read her mind, if he did, it would be very creepy.

"That sounds great! Alright, I should leave it to you then. Be sure to mine as much as possible, we will need to give this mine to my father. That kind of achievement will elevate my position somewhat within the clan"

"Great plan, good luck on your journey!"

"Thanks!"

Zhihui said with a smile as she goes deeper into the illuminated spirit crystal mine. Leaving Mors behind so he can mine the spirit crystals.

---Mors POV----

As Zhihui slowly leaves his field of view, Mors turns to the system as he looks at the number of points he has. With this many points, he can buy two more bloodline upgrades. The two upgrades he has the most questions about. As he buys the two upgrades, notifications go off in his brain.

As Mors looks at his new status as he smiles softly, thinking that this will make mining a lot easier. With pickaxe in hand, he summons 100 of himself. All look like him and act like him, the only difference is that they are transparent and yellow in color. He soon gives them the mission of mining these spirit crystals till Zhihui comes back. As he does the same, using this time to practice and cultivate.

---Zhihui POV---

It has been awhile since she started going deeper into the cave, walking by countless corridors. But soon she arrives in front of a large open hole, as she peeks in through the hole, she sees an even larger and different cave system through this hole. But this cave system seems to be below the current cave system she is on.

As she looks at this new cave system, she smiles, as she found a place with great potential for holding artifacts. She jumps through the hole, channeling her QI into her feet, as she gathers the air beneath her feet. Slowly softening her landing, her feet touching the wet stone that makes up the floor.

The sound of running water enters her ears, as she looks around, she notices that the floor is wet with water. The sound entering her ears proved that there must be flowing water that its slowly entering this cave. This has the possibility of making this cave system unstable, as the constant erosion caused by the water will create a bigger hole and a bigger cave system.

As such, she needs to be careful to not cause too much damage to this cave system. As she looks around at the cave system, she notices small patches of glowing fungi. These fungi are known as [Light Mushrooms], a special mushroom that grows in dark wet caves and places. The main source of food for many small bugs and animals. There might be a whole ecosystem in this place, which means the possibility of monsters.

Not that she will be worried, close ecosystems like this usually don't make strong monsters. Unless its baseline is strong already. As such, with careful steps, Zhihui started to explore this cave system. Hopping to find some artifacts or materials that she can take back.
