1- The older brother

Today is a beautiful day outside. The birds are chirping and the sun is shining. Its just a beautiful day in New York. I head out the door for work and so excited. I've been working at Design Capital for a little over a month. I've been working as an intern but it's better then nothing. I've made some friends in the office. Alex and Ruby. I swear they have chemistry but don't want to admit it. They flirt back and forth. I hear my name being called "Hayley?" I jump up. "The boss wants to see you" says Lori. Ever since Mr. JeDyn first called me into his office she started hating me. All the girls just call him "the boss they would risk it for" I don't understand why they would do that he isn't that hot. I get to the front office doors, knocking just to be polite. He tells me to come in and sit in the chair across from him.

"We have a.... interesting turn of events. My older brother is going to be here later today because my dad is going to give one of us the company so we almost have to compete for it. You will be giving me intel on him and with becoming his new assistant that should be very good for you."

"Oh...sir...with all do respect I'm an intern and I just want to finish that so I could maybe become an executive designer. I wasn't hired to be a....spy."

"With all do respect to you. If you don't do this you will be fired from your internship and I will put word out that you are not capable of any job in the city. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes...sir"

"Great! Your desk is already outside of his office two doors down on the left"

I get up from the chair and walk out of the room. Not paying attention to where I am going, I run into someone.

"Oh my God I'm so so sorry"

"Don't be sorry, people make mistakes."

As I look to see who I bumped into it is a very handsome man. He is in a black suit, very muscular shoulders and arms, with the most gorgeous blue eyes. And short black hair that a couple of pieces come in front of his face, he is maybe half a foot taller then me, and his voice is so deep and consuming.

"Hello my name is Logan Morales"

Oh my god the man I bumped into is none other then Mr. JeDyn's older brother, my new boss, who I am now his new assistant.

"Oh hi, I'm Hayley... I'm actually your new assistant as of...3 minutes ago."

"Well nice to meet you Hayley, would you mind showing me to my office?...I don't feel like seeing my brother right now"

"Of course!"

I show him to his office and mentally punching myself in the face. I cannot believe that just happened! I just bumped into my new boss! That is not a good first impression!

"Well this is your new office. Mine is right outside the door. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask."

"Thank you Ms. Hayley, and we'll start with you sitting across from me and us talking for a bit."
