Dylan sat in one of the chairs present in the dinning room with Ronald who also sat opposite him while his eyes kept wandering around not wanting to meet the king's gaze that was staring at him.although he held a calm expression right now,Dylan couldn't forget how he had made him almost peed on himself.he had held this gaze that was no different from when the devil was staring right at you.

'Has your sister gone out with anyone before?'Dylan heard the king suddenly ask and for a moment,he was dumbstruck that the king was asking him such a thing but then again he had remembered the king openly telling them that he had feelings for his dear sister to which he had for no reason believed until now.

'No….your highness'Dylan answered clearing his throat as he straighted himself on the chair he was Seating on but he still hadn't brought himself to look him in the eye.he was sure that if he were to as much as make any mistake,there was no guarantee he wouldn't wet himself all over his trousers right now.

'Interesting'came the thrilled voice from Ronald his eyes beaming with something unfathomable.dylan who heard this remark could only raise his face up to look at the king who's lips had being slightly pulled to the side enabling Dylan to see the way his eyes held so much curiosity in them.

Dylan could only watch the king's eyes glimmer at the thought that Cathy had never had a fling on anyone before which Dylan found to be quite intriguing as it was hard to ignore the fact that the king of this very city was interested in his very own sister?

'Do you really have feelings for my sister?'dylan couldn't help but ask as he stared at the king who now met his gaze making him gulp,slightly afraid that the now so calm eyes would soon shoot fireballs at him.

Ronald's lips pulled into a wicked smile,his tongue running over one of his fangs while watching the human cower at his presence.

'isnt it great that we would be in laws very soon little Dylan?' Dylan heard the words pour out of Ronald's mouth so flawlessly he didn't know whether to react to the fact that the king had called him little or the fact that he was stating out something so utterly unbelievable.

'Am not little'Dylan pouted not knowing why someone of his age was referring to him as little but that wasn't the point now was it? The king was making reference to something that would completely change his once miserable life.it had never occurred to him but if the king were to marry his sister...….not only would he be welcomed into the higher society,he would also gain power.there were so many benefits that came with what the king was saying right now as he knew if that were to happen the king would have to give him a title.

'That sounds delightful brother in law'Dylan remarked letting out a sheepish smile while the shoes he wore gently tapped on the floor to hide his nervousness.

'you think so?'Ronald continued pestering the young boy who only nodded his head vigorously and a sinister smile came to appear on his lips as he now took a sip from his wine and just then the girl they were talking about appeared beside him a slight smirk coming to play on his lips as he dropped the glass of wine he was drinking now turning to look at her.

Back in the present day,Hailey had went ahead to drag Cathy by her arm so she would face her.she was glaring hard at her little sister that decided to act repulsively.

"How could you have rejected the king! that the most height of madness I have ever seen Cathy"Hailey yelled at her sister not knowing why she had gone ahead to turn down the offer that many were dying for and throw it out in the mud.

"Tell me! Is what Dylan saying true?"Mona was the one to ask now staring at her daughter suprisingly.cathy took a deep breath in not knowing what to say again.had she done something wrong?

"He wasn't really asking me mother! He only mentioned that if we were to get married it was only right to get to know who I was going to get married off to but I swear he didn't really mean it that way"Cathy tried to explain but she got a smack on her arm instead which was from Hailey.

"Do you even know what you are talking about! how could you just easily disregard what the king had said just like that?"Hailey glared at Cathy who glared back at her.

"And besides I don't want to marry the king I don't want to get married to who I don't love"Cathy said to have Hailey's eyes flare up at her sister's words.

"Cathy?"mr rain who had been quiet the whole time turned to his daughter.he was quite taken aback by what Dylan had said finding it hard to believe and if what they were saying was true,Mr rain knew his daughter wasn't anywhere near safe.

"That's enough now everyone.we should be glad they are both back and safe even though Dylan has decided to leave off some very provocative words"mr rain said wanting to close off the topic and forget whatever that has happened.

"I am just glad my two children are safe and kept out of harm's way"mona said changing her surprised look into a smile as she now hugged Dylan who didn't bother hugging his mother back.

They all went to sleep that night after spending some time together in the living room and talking about anything else but the incident that had happened.they all just wanted to forget what happened and hoped to never cross path with such misfortune again but all except Dylan who was annoyed at the fact that his sister had blown up the chance of him being someone important in the society.

Meanwhile in the outskirts of the famous city of villa,a man could be seen torturing his victim as he seemed pleased with what he was doing.

"Who the fuck are you"the man in his hands shouted already trembling in fear as the man in front of him right now looked no less than a demon.his eyes which had temporarily turned gold.he had never seen anything like it before.

"I just keep wondering what I should do to you.should I just kill you or allow you to suffer?hmmm?...answer me"the man demanded answer from his prey as his eyes glistened in mischievousness but it only made the man in his hands tremble more.

"Why are you doing this? Please just let me go I don't know you or your mama just let me be"the man continued wailing but little did he know that his predator right now was the type that liked inflicting fear in people.

"Have you ever heard of wraiths?"the man asked with a smirk but his preys eyebrows only furrowed at him wondering if he had lost it.

"Well I guess you are about to find out"a slow yet provocative smile slowly spread on his lips as he watched his prey shiver in fear.how lovely! He thought.

"Peakabo!"an enchanting voice suddenly sounded behind him as he heard the door to the room slam at the wall to have him quickly turn to look at who had dared to barg in when he was in the middle of something important only to meet with a pair of cold gazes who now stood before him.

"Wh…..who are you"the man asked stepping back a little as he dropped the man he had been holding by the collar all along who dropped on the floor with a thud.one of the men who had just walked in seconds ago moved closer towards him as he saw him smile.he could have said the man held a charming smile right now but his eyes that pierced right through his soul right now gave him chills all over his body.

"How rude of you,to not offer your visitors a drink when they have travelled quite a long way just to see you...right Nick?"the man said now turning to the other one who held a murderous gaze towards the man they had come to visit.

"Ahhh…..you two must be the men Nicole sent to me.forgive my manners gentlemen.please have a seat,what would you like to drink?"the man asked nervously not wanting to provoke the men that stood in front of him right now.

He saw the man in front of him chuckle as he could now see his fangs that peeked out of his mouth."how splendid Mr Klaus but unfortunately I prefer a much more savourable meal"
