After I rubbed us both down with dried jasmine, I tied Sasha back into my coat with the harness. "It's not fair to bring you with me to this place, but it'll be easier, okay? I'll give you a thousand more kisses to make up for it."

She grumbled as I buttoned my coat over her, clearly not thrilled about our bargain.

"A bone to chew on later, then? How about one of your alpha's?"

She seemed to consider that as I passed the rows of chairs to the church's front door.

"Let's go." After flipping up the deep hood of his coat, Thomas grabbed my hand and dragged me out into the brutal winter.
