The Creator above the Heavens and Beyond

"Oof, after five thousand hours of play, I managed to reach the highest level. It wasn't at all easy to build a civilization like this one. I'll never do something like that. I had enough of building games for the rest of my life. I guess I'll return to the classic Fps."

Those were my words back then. When I didn't know what was going to happen to me.

I had stayed awake until late at night to finish one of the first games that I had played.

But as soon as I finished it and lay down on the chair, suddenly I felt a bit dizzy. The last thing I remember seeing was my body laying on the chair as I was dragged away from it and getting sucked into some sort of portal.

When I opened my eyes, I was on a huge circular disc that was floating in space.

The first thing I noticed when I got there was that when I looked up, I didn't see the sky as it was on earth, but the whole universe.

It was like those photos that the space telescopes take.

It was so surreal.

Then when I looked around me, I saw some figures staring at me. They were murmuring something, but I couldn't entirely understand what they were saying.

Some of the phrases I heard were "Are we sure that this kid is the one?", "Is he fitted to become a god?" and "let's hope that he has what it takes."

I couldn't really get what was happening or where exactly I was. This whole thing looked to me like a dream, plus I didn't have my body. I was like the ghosts from the movies because when I looked down to see why I couldn't move my legs, I saw that my legs had been replaced by some sort of spiritual tail.

Needless to say that I freaked out, but before I could say anything one of those figures came closer to me and said, "Don't worry young man. Everything's fine."

His voice had something that made me feel warmness and trust.

I looked up and saw a middle-aged man wearing golden-colored clothes and having a halo hovering above his head which emitted a radiant golden light.

"W-where am I?" I managed to mutter.

He smiled and told me in a soft voice, "Currently you are in Zone Zero but don't worry, you will soon become a god and you will have your own planet. Now, I know that you are concerned about your life on earth, but I can reassure you that no one will understand that you are gone because it will be like you never existed in the first place. You're probably also wondering why we chose you for the position, the truth is that we saw your skills in that thing where you made cities and we were really impressed by your skills and that's why we chose you for the honor of becoming a God…."

He was shining majestically in front of me but nothing he said made sense to me and without caring about that, he continued

"Now, I'll infuse you with the God seed in order to get the powers of a god."

I had so many questions about everything. I mean, he didn't even explain to me almost anything.

I was ready to decline and tell them to return me to my body to continue my life, but before I could say anything, he placed his finger on my forehead. And even though I didn't have a heart, I could feel something beating inside me, but soon I passed out without even getting a chance to speak a word.

And that's how I ended up finding myself floating in the space. I just sat there with my hands crossed as I was angry at the way they treated me.

But after some weeks of just floating there, I got bored, and I decided to use the powers that I could feel within me to create something.

But how do I do that? They didn't explain anything to me.

"Master, would you like to start creating your world?" I heard a voice coming from behind me.

I turned and saw a white probe standing behind me.

"What are you?"

"I'm ZNX138 and I'm your personal assistant."

"I see, I see. So how do I start building?" I felt amazed how AI is even popular among Gods,

"You can create it the similar way you used to do in games and if there is a complicated matter I'll provide Instructions for it."

"Oh, that's really convenient. So, can you put a planet over here?" I said, pointing at a space in front of me.

"Yes."

And as soon as it said that, a planet appeared in front of me. It was a rocky one without any water source or generally something else except rocks.

"Hmm, interesting. Alright then, time to use my skills in building."

I deleted the planet that I just placed and in its place I put a sun, the same as my previous solar system. Then around it, I built four planets close to it so no life form could be created, a planet at the same distance as the earth was from the sun and one other at the place Mars was.

After that, I placed some other things as decorations such as planets, asteroids, and some rings around particular planets.

Now then, time for me to create some life forms.

"Pod, how do I put life on the planet?"

"You can just select. There is variety."

"I see. Ah, I have to fix the environment a little bit."

"A sea here… a mountain here… a forest here… a river… a cave… and we're done."

"Now let's see. Life forms. Hmm, put some humans… um, are there elves and beastkin?"

"Yes."

"Perfect!! Add them too."

Alright, now we are ready.

"How much time will it take for a civilization to form?"

"It will take fifty thousand years."

"That much?! And what will I do in the meantime?"

"We can play cards."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Eh, either way, I don't have anything else to do."

The humans who arose as chimps once were now humans.

The trees also have given birth to elves.

And yet I am still lonely.

I wanna have fun toooo.

I already lost count of how many times I got defeated in those card games.

It's not fair. Pod is an AI, I can't win against him.

Aaah, I'm too bored here.

"Master, if you want, you can descend into your world."

"Wait, really?! Why didn't you say that before?"

All this time I was guiding heroes who got reincarnated into my world to become powerful and the rest while I could just have fun in my world?

"Okay, I decided. I'll go to my world."

But wait, I have to keep guiding the new heroes that come into this world. What a bother. I'll just leave a pre-recorded message.

I told Pod what I was going to do and what to do with the recording.

Ah, right, before I descend, I have to make a body for myself. I can't just go around with my astral one.

And as a proper isekai fan, I'll make an appropriate body. Black hair, red eyes, nice body, and tall. That's everything I need.

"Now, Pod, create a body for me."

He immediately spawned my body exactly as I imagined it. I will be pretty handsome, it seems.

And with that, I fused my soul inside my new body.

"Ah, it feels refreshing to have a body finally," I said while moving my hands.

Alright then, time to start my new life.

I instantly teleported myself a little outside one city. But as soon as I got ready to make my first step, a horde of magical beasts came from behind me and ran over me. Thankfully, my body was sturdy enough.

"Master, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine," I said while shaking the dust off my clothes.

"Say, Pod, can I exterminate these magical beasts?"

"You can, but that will result in a chain reaction that will lead to…"

"Okay, okay, I got it. I won't do anything. Let's just go to the town."

Let's see if I did a good job creating this planet.

Even if I didn't, it was my first time. I can always build a new one.

Oh no, wait, I don't wanna play cards for that many years.

Never mind, I'll leave the world as it is.
