Nancy arrived at the Jeremy's mansion she smirked upon seeing the staffs going in and out of the house.

"so they really mean it... haaa..." she retrieve her key before going into the house on her way to the stairs she met Anne's mother

"aunt" she called with an awkward smile on her face. Anita turned and smiled brightly when she saw Nancy

"Oh darling you arrived quickly more than I expected"

'yh I arrived quickly so I can ruin this stupid marriage because it's never our dream' she said in her head before clearing her throat

"aunt where is Nancy?"

"In her room of course hurry go meet her, your dresses are on the way" Nancy turned to the step but stopped again to ask Anita a question

"aunt? Can I ask you a question?"

"aunt are you really going to let her get engaged with the bates i mean the heir I hear.."

Anne sat on a stool in front of her window lost in her thoughts.

" Anne? " she turn around only to see her best friend in front of her door

"hey" she managed to say before walking toward her.

"hey. It's gonna be okay" Nancy said placing her hand on Anne's shoulder. As if waiting for someone to comfort her she burst into tears.

"Nan I don't want to get married to him, I don't even know him, I've never seen him in my life"

Nancy who couldn't hold her own tears also joined her
