Shopping With The Boys

Morning came in a flash, and it was time to meet Seba, I couldn't help but feel excited, i got out of bed and prepared breakfast, while eating I received an unexpected call from the counseling service at school.

"Hello Dionis, Mojca on the phone. I called you today to ask if there is something wrong?" the voice on the other end said.

"Uh, no. Why would something be wrong?" I asked, confused.

"It seems you are often absent from school, and the school is getting worried. If your attendance is less than 80%, you will have to repeat the grade. If you have any medical problem, please tell the doctor to write a report for you. Otherwise, you should come to school," she replied.

I resorted to making an excuse "I'm sorry, I just have some family problems, and I need time to deal with it,"

"I'm sorry to hear that, but rules cannot be broken. I will have to call your parents if you continue to be absent," she responded coldly.

"Tsk, alright. I'll come to school, just don't call my parents," I told her, feeling annoyed.

"Dionis, you've changed. I'm truly disappointed," she said over the phone.

"So what?" I hung up the phone, irritated by her response.

My morning was ruined by this bitch, but I tried to forget about it. After finishing my breakfast, still feeling annoyed, I called Eman.

"Eman, you up yet?"

"Yeah," he responded with a grunt.

"You just woke up didn't you hahah fucking dumbass. Get up"

"Aight what do you want?" he asked, sounding less than enthusiastic.

"Call Darjan and David and tell them to come to your place. Oh, and make sure they bring at least $100 with them,"

"Broo why do we always have to meet at my place?" Eman complained.

Completely ignoring his question, I simply said goodbye and hung up.

After ending the call with Eman, I quickly got dressed and left my house. While walking to Eman's house, I notice that the police were more active than usual. Patrol cars were everywhere, and it seemed like they were on high alert, but I wasn't worried, knowing that I had taken all necessary precautions to erase any evidence of the crimes I had committed.

When I arrived at Eman's house, Darjan and David were already there, waiting for me in the couch. I sat down with them, and got straight to the point.

"Did y'all bring at least 100$" I asked, looking at them.

They nodded their heads and pulled the money out of their pockets, throwing it on the table.

"But boss, why do you need our money? You know we worked hard for it," David asked, hesitant.

"Because you'll be buying a decent suit with this money. I can't spend any of the organization's money since I'm putting it all on ecstasy. After I sell the ecstasy to the Krasniqi family, I'll add a $100 bonus to your pay. Don't worry, your hard-earned money won't be wasted on clothes," I reassured them.

"Aight then" David replied, not really convinced.

"Guys clothes are a symbol of wealth and power, so we need to dress as nicely as possible. And because of that, I will pay for it since it is part of your work," I said.

Finally convincing them we left the house and roamed around the small city until our eyes caught sight of a distinguished suit shop that exuded an air of luxury.

Approaching the establishment, a sharply dressed man gracefully opened the door, extending a warm greeting to us.

"Hello, sirs. What kind of suits are you looking for today?" the salesman asked.

"There are different types of suits? Ahem," i cleared my throat "we want a normal black with white stripes suit?" I said, sounding confused.

"Is this your first time buying suits? Well, it doesn't matter. Follow me," the salesman said as he led us into the store.

We walked through the store, and finally, I noticed the suit I was looking for. A suit straight out of a mafia film. It was a sleek black suit adorned with white stripes, accentuated by a tasteful red flower nestled in the chest pocket. I pointed at it, telling the salesman that it was the one I wanted.

"You have excellent taste, sir. Please follow me to the measuring room," the salesman said.

"Before we do that, how much is the suit?" I asked.

"Oh, this one is on the cheap side, with only $1,000," the salesman replied.

"$1,000?!" our eyes widened. "You're fucking crazy if you think I'll buy clothes that expensive."

We left the store feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was angry that I couldn't find a suit that fit my budget, and I could tell that Darjan and David were disappointed as well.

"Boss, what are we going to do now?" Darjan asked.

"We'll have to keep looking. I refuse to spend that much money on a suit," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.

Eman chimed in, "Yeah, we can't let them take advantage of us like that."

David nodded in agreement. "We'll find a better deal somewhere else!"

we started walking down the street, scanning our surroundings for another suit shop. The police presence was still heavy, and I couldn't help but feel uneasy.

David's suggested something that sparked an idea in my mind.

"If only we were in China everything in there is cheap as fuck."

"David man I fucking love you bro," I kissed his big head. "Let's go to a Chinese store, hope they sell suits in there"

Confidently David replied, "They probably do. Chinese store tend to sell everything imaginable,"

Without wasting any more time, we quickly rushed to a nearby Chinese shop and asked the cashier if they had suits for sale. To our surprise, they did indeed have a collection of suits on display. The cashier then showed us their selection, and we were pleased to see that they were priced at a reasonable $80 price mark. Additionally, we purchased a small kids backpack to secretly transport the goods, avoiding any attention from the police.

"I'm relieved we finally found a reasonable price for some decent suits," I remarked. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed by the quality of the suits. While they looked good on the outside, the fabric felt cheap and uncomfortable.

Regardless, we each purchased our own suit. I opted for a striking, all-black suit, while Eman, David and Darjan chose elegant white suits paired with sleek black ties.

As we left the store and headed towards the meeting place, Darjan spoke up. "Boss, are you sure these suits are good enough? I mean, they don't look very high-quality."

"They may not be the best, but they'll do for now," I replied. "Besides, it's not the suits that matter, it's how we present ourselves in them."
