Power of being Royal!

Maya walks slowly forward and looks at the group of men stood in her way.

She knows they are surprised and glares at them sternly. She was hurt by that mad soldier.

'I should have avoided this..I should have avoided everything! I should have gone ...but I can't step back from my words. I gave the words to that woman. I promised to take care of her!'.

The men look at Maya still in shock as they never saw anyone of the people fighting back their own country's soldiers.

In fact the soldiers are the one who controlled every people. As Royals order every single command to them, people never dared to even raise their fingers to even point them!.

Now after the incident had happened in Countryside Pavilion last night, they received Royal Decree to find the conspirators within 2 days.

Even though the punishments for the servants were harsh, they had no choice other than belting the servants who were responsible for keeping The crown Prince's wife safe!.

She was not only missing but also found The Earth's Poisonous Snake in her chamber!.

But they didn't expect a mere servant out of nowhere to oppose their leader. Not just she opposed him, she even won by defeating him!.

Maya walks forward splitting the group in centre and makes way for her towards Sarah.

GASP!

WHISPERS!! AGAIN!!.

'Who is this lady?!'.

'Have anyone seen her before?!'.

'How could she be so powerful?!'.

Maya mocks them in her heart.

'Didn't they read or hear about the couplet?

He wouldn't have fought with me! He would have thrown his greetings on my face and even mocked as if I survived just because of the title. So it's good that he didn't know about me and invited me with his arrogance to punish him! It's fun to shut his mouth personally!'.

She didn't forget to notice him looking back at her darkly. Alas, he wouldn't able to stand properly for at least a weak.

Maya looks the clear image of Sarah lying on the floor. She stops and kneels before Sarah.

'She kneeled! Look!!'.

GASP!

Maya sneers mentally hearing whispers from the crowd.

'Yes. I kneeled. Only before a very handful of people..No...the truth is...only before My Masters and the people I cared. Unfortunately I never cared for anyone in my entire life!'.

She contemplates for a minute and looks at her own injured hand.

She looks at Sarah worried and looks around 'I can't touch her!'. She looks at another girl lying lifeless and gasps "Who is she?!".

She winces holding her hand and glares at a servant who was looking at her in ...awe?.

She orders "Come here!".

The girl jerks from her daze. She was watching the 'stranger girl' in ecstasy as she taught that beast a lesson. Actually she was bewitched by Maya's presence.

'How could she be so beautiful and powerful? She is beauty and beast! Yes..If she could defeat that rude beast, she is definitely a beast but a beautiful one. I wonder how could she fight back so fast....'.

After looking at Maya wincing in pain, her heart melted instantly.

'Ah! Our saviour could also feel pain?! And she cares for SERVANTS! Us!'.

She was looking at Maya admiring until Maya's cold eyes fell on her. Maya's rude voice woke her up from her fantasy.

'WHY IS SHE LOOKING AT ME ANGRILY?!'.

Her body shock involuntarily and moved in subconscious mind.

She didn't realize when she walked. When she did, she was already standing before Maya who was ordering her sternly.

"Come out of your dream and help this girl to show her face!".

The girl nods and lifts Molly's head and places gently on her lap. She moves her dirty hairs away from her face so that she too could look at her face. She too didn't know her and heard the soldiers mentioned that she came yesterday. She too mentally blamed her for not accepting her crimes.

'Just because of this woman we were punished!'.

Maya whispers "Molly?! Why is she lifeless? See if she is still alive!".

'Sarah's is far better than Molly's condition! How could they do this to her?! They destroyed her! Just because of a suspicion!'.

Maya gulps in horror as she never had any idea of this severe punishments!. She felt herself shivering at the thought of getting on bad sides of Royals now.

'They are unimaginably powerful and you are nothing Maya! Well... a pathetic commoner with a Curse!. I can call myself anything but not others. I should decide what I should be called. They have no rights to show their power over me just because I am in their country!'.

She subconsciously thinks about Crown Prince's words and sneers.

'If I get a chance, I swear to snatch his arrogance from him! I will show him his true place because he is showing his power of being Royal.. Did he say that I didn't deserve to be his servant?! I will show him what he deserves if he hasn't have his Title just because of his birth!'.
