After a ten hour drive the couple arrived to Nashville. After Sean guided the truck to a luxury hotel, Sara looked out at the city that had a light covering of snow. The trip had been mostly quiet between the two of them, mainly with soft music playing in the radio interrupted by the seemingly never ending business calls to Sean's phone. After arriving to the penthouse suite Sean hurriedly got off the phone before turning to Sara, "I have a meeting tonight that has cropped up. Miranda is in town on a business trip. So Frank will take you to go see here. She already knows your here." Sara nodded in response before walking around the suite that was bigger than her old house. "So this is how the rich live. Mansions and suites bigger than most peoples homes." Sara's words made Sean chuckle, "if that's what you believe then you'll be in for quite the shock soon." Sean then grabbed the bags before walking into the bedroom. Sara shook her head before following him to get ready.
A while later Sara walked out of the bedroom wearing her favorite black dress. She looked over at Sean who was putting on his tie. She suddenly was in awe of the man. The simple black suit made the man seem serious, refined, and most of all handsome. She had spent her time with him seeing him work and joke around but at this moment, his simple suit made him seem more handsome. Caught in a daze she didn't realize that Sean had been watching her caught in his own daze thinking 'when did my wife become so hot?' After a few moments Sara snapped out of her daze before walking over and fixed the failure that Sean had tied. She lightly patted his chest when she finished his tie before looking up into his eyes.
At that moment time seemed to stop. Looking into the almost golden eyes, Sara saw warmth and comfort with a hint of protection. The smile that appeared on his face seemed to shine. His hand on her waist was sending electric shocks all throughout her body. She seemed to be pulled towards him. As Sean looked down on the woman, her eyelashes fluttering slightly as he put his hand on her waist. Her blue eyes sparkling were entrancing to him. He could not seem to pull away. The little black dress hugging her perfectly while her slightly curled hair seemed to frame her face perfectly. The bright red lips, luscious and soft looking, seemed to pull him closer.
Suddenly a cough was heard, bursting the bubble the two seemed to have been in. Sara saw a flash of disappointment in Sean's eyes before he glared at the culprit. Sara found that the two had become quite close to each other, began to blush as she hurriedly separated from Sean. Sean, who was busy glaring at John with the fire of the sun in his eyes, suddenly felt Sara move away, found that for some reason he felt empty all of the sudden. John realizing the mistake that he made far too late just tapped his watch signaling to Sean that they were running late. Sean sighed before looking at his woman before smiling and then following John out of the suite.
Sara's heart seemed to finally return to normally after Sean left. Shortly after Frank walked in an spoke, "Madam we are ready to leave when you are." Sara nodded to Frank before heading out. As Sara sat in the car making it's way through town, her mind wandering back to that moment. She suddenly had an idea and cleared her throat, "Frank, what can you tell me about Sean's exes?" The words made Franks foot slip off the gas as he gawked in the rear view mirror. "Madam to be honest, I think you would classify as his first everything. I've been working with him since he was 17 and he always avoided woman. The only three he trusted enough to to be near him are truly capable woman. Katie was once kidnapped by the Carmichaels trying to find out info on Sean and suffered for almost a month before we rescued her. We know that she never gave up information on Sean because the Carmichaels still don't know who he is. Claire met Sean through John and proved her worth by successfully bringing in the South American groups inline. She has since proved her worth with her decisiveness on all matters in the Underworld. Truthfully if people didn't know she had a boss they'd think she ran it. The lost woman is an enigma to even me. She seems to be good at building relationships around the world but other than that, she has little else to offer. I can safely say that as I've seen how she reacts when your life is on the line. There's no fight in her." Sara nodded to Frank as she pondered the words that he spoke.
When they arrived at the newest Swan location, after Sara got out of the car, Frank stopped her. He reached into his pocket pulling out a pin. The pin was an intricate onyx Wolf with ruby teeth and an emerald eye, outlined in sapphires. Frank only stated, "the boss has said anytime you are out alone you must wear this pin. It will save your life before it is threatened." Sara's eyes turned soft hearing how even when apart Sean seemed to be thinking about her safety. Then a flash of determination crossed her eyes as she new she needed to be stronger. Taking the pin she asked, "how many more pins are there like this one." Frank looked at the woman, noticing the determination in her eyes, pulled out a matching pin from his pocket. "4 women and 3 men carry these. You've met 5 of the other 6. Sean's is similar but only has rubies on it instead of the other stones. They house tracking chips and wireless microphones you can activate by pressing the eye twice. Sara nodded before putting the pin on her one strap and heading inside the restaurant.
Upon entry Miranda immediately ran up to her and embraced her. "It's been so long how have you been?" The cheerful voice rang out. Sara smiled returning the hug saying, "It's been good." When the two walked to the hostess table, the young man who was standing there was immediately pulled away by a middle aged plump man. He immediately walked over to Sara before bowing slightly to her and saying, "Madam I hope your visit is pleasant in this town. If there is anything you need don't hesitate to notify us." Sara, along with everyone else was taken aback by the action. Swan had a reputation around the world of not succumbing to pressure from anyone much less fawning over someone. Yet here was Clyde Stevens bowing to someone. While Nashville was home to many rich people it attracted even more from around the world with the lucrative entertainment business, so many of the people immediately recognized that Sara was someone that Swan couldn't afford to offend then was there anyone who could afford to offend her.
Sara smiled softly at the man before responding, "thank you Mr. Stevens, I just hope to have a pleasant dinner with my friend." Clyde stood up straight as he immediately led the two women to a table by the window. Little did Sara know, her incident at the door had sent waves through the dining hall. Many trying to guess her identity and some trying to see if she was single. Some even snuck a photo of her and passed it along to their friends to inform them of the person that made the new CEO of Swan Restaurants bow to her. In an instant Sara became the hottest topic of the upper echelons of society. 'Just how powerful was this woman?' was the question of the moment in the dining room and attracting the attention of the rich world.
