Quarrelsome

Not long after her phone rang, she picked up the call, she looked back and was so surprised at the figure she said.

"What! When did you get here? How come I didn't know? Did he hear what we have been saying? Will she hear me?" Cynthia thought.

She stood up and greeted Jerry with a fake smile. Her heart was beating very fast. 

She didn't know what to do because Jerry didn't return the smile.

"Haa! What should I do now? Will I start over again? What will I tell my parents about my relationship" Cynthia thought

The crack voice of Jerry jotted him out of thought.

"Why are you not talking?" He said as she made us sit down.

"Nothing. Where are you coming from? You didn't tell me you will be coming today" Cynthia said.

" you were right, I just wanted to pay you a surprise visit, that is why? I hope I didn't interrupt anything since you were not aware of my coming?"

"Not at all" we were done with the official meeting.
