CHAPTER 134

"How are you cousin sister?" Adriana asked Eve smirking.

"You b**ch!" Eve said while she struggled to untie herself from the chair.

"B**ch... Hahaha" Adriana laughed, she uses her hand to raise Eve head and then she continued "you better choose your words carefully because I don't know what I would do to you if you talk recklessly again" Adriana said and left Eve's head roughly.

"Wait still my husband get hold of you both and the both of you will be dead meat!" Eve shouted and this earned a laughter from Adriana and her father.

"Dead meat? Yes I know that but you would be dead even before he finds us and if you are dead my dear sister, I will happily die!" Adriana said.

"I AM NOT YOUR SISTER!" Eve shouted. She was beyond annoyed and can't believe she was related to these two in front of her.

"Of course I do not have a sister because you will soon be dead!" Adriana shouted.

"What did I do to deserve all these ill treatment from you? What!?" Eve asked, tears were already falling down from her eyes.

"You really want to know what you did?" Adriana asked, she folded her hands.

"Yes because I do not remember what I did to your family!" Eve shouted.

"Then shall we go back to the past" Adriana said and started.

Flashback begins ~~~~~

Adriana POV

When Eve was living with her uncle, George who has a daughter named Adriana. Adriana did not exactly hate Eve but she did not like her either. Adriana was treated like a princess. Everything she wanted she got, but wait.... Not everything though because the boy she liked did not like her back, instead he liked Eve and that is when all the hatred started growing.

Eve and Adriana went to the same high school and of course Adriana was an attention seeker. Everyone followed her to be her friend because she was rich and some boys even tried to asked her out but she refused because she liked the most popular boy in the school.

Pérez castillo was the boy Adriana liked in the school. He is half American and half Mexican with his mother been the one who is American and his father Mexican.He parents were also very rich. His mixed genes made him very handsome and cute. He was the typical tall, muscular and handsome athletic junk in the school. Girls and even boys were falling for him.

Pérez and Adriana were friends and everyone thought they were a couple with the way Adriana acts around him. She would hug him suddenly and he would not do anything to stop her from doing that and that made people start thinking they were dating. Adriana loved the attention she was getting and hoped the rumours about her and Pérez would become a reality, but it did not get to happen and Adriana's hope was shattered when Pérez met Eve.

Eve was a serious student. She was beautiful, calm and did well in her studies. She is the complete opposite of Adriana who all she wanted was attention. She hates attention, although she still got attention because she was very beautiful.

Pérez and Eve met coincidentally in the school field. He saved her from a flying ball that almost hit her (the ball was thrown by Adriana's minions) and since then Pérez liked Eve and started pursuing her. She refused him numerous times but he still kept following her and this made Adriana angry at Eve. One day Adriana approached Eve when she was reading a book in the library.

"Hey Eve" Adriana called quitely because they were in a library.

"What is it this time, Adriana?" Eve asked rubbing her forehead.

"You are still following Pérez?" Adriana asked.

"What do you mean, I am still following Pérez? I am not" Eve asked surprised.

"If you are not, why is he still asking you out?" Adriana asked.

"I rejected him like you asked me to but he is the one that keeps on following me around?" Eve said frowning her face.

"You are lying!" Adriana shouted and this got the attention of everyone in the library.

"I don't care if you believe me or not!" Eve stood up and packed her books and proceeds to leave the library but stopped midway when she saw Pérez in front of her.

"Hi Eve" Pérez greeted smiling.

"I do not want anything to do with you Pérez and tell your nagging girlfriend to leave me alone" Eve said and walked out of the library. Pérez becomes annoyed and looked at Adriana. He approached her.

"What did you tell Eve?" Pérez asked Adriana. Adriana knew immediately that Pérez was angry.

"I didn't tell her anything" Adriana lied.

"And what does Eve mean by my nagging girlfriend? When did we start dating?" Pérez looked at Adriana angrily.

"I don't know Pérez, please don't listen to what she said" Adriana tried to hold his hand but he dodged it.

"Don't touch me! I have been tolerating you, allowing you to act. I never saw you as a friend not to talk of a girlfriend. You can never become my girlfriend because I only want Eve as my girlfriend, so stop day dreaming!" Pérez said and walked out of the library. Adriana squeezed her hands out of anger. She looked around and saw the crowd and shouted.

"What are you all looking at?" The crowd dispersed and Adriana murmured to herself "I will get you back for this humiliation Eve!" And walked out of the library.

The news of Adriana been rejected by Pérez spread throughout the whole school. Anywhere Adriana went in the school, other students would laugh at her, saying that she is a good for nothing b**ch. They called her all sorts of names.

"I must get my revenge!" Adriana said. From that day onwards, Adriana utilized every possible opportunity to humiliate Eve, if she can't get Pérez, Eve won't either. She went ahead to spread news of Eve being a kept girl to numerous old men. The news circulated the whole school and Pérez joined in later and started looking at Eve with disgust.

"How is your sugar daddies?" Pérez shouted and everyone started laughing.

"What do you mean by me being a kept girl?" Eve gazed coldly at Pérez.

"Aren't you a kept girl?" Eve loses her patience and approached Pérez and threw him on the floor pinning his right hand at his back and said,

"Don't you ever in your miserable life refer to me as a kept girl" Eve said coldly.

"Yes... yes I won't" Pérez nodded quickly and Eve released him and walked away leaving everyone shocked.
