April asked him with her head on his chest, caressing his nipple with her fingernail while they laid on the bed. 

She lifted her face upwards to see his and could see him smirk.

"Yes I was, I did think about you being dragged into all of this madness but once I was in, a bond was formed and so I don't need to put a mark on you just to tell when it's you even if there were a hundred of you out there. It's different when a wolf just has sex and when he makes love. The bond remains a mystery. "

He replied to her in a calm tone. She smiled.

"But you have had a lot of mates throughout your lifetime then"

She stated.
