Alone in the cave, Walter placed his hand against his wound, taking slow breaths to manage the pain. He looked pale and his body gave out water. His back rested against the rocky wall and his head tilted upwards while his eyes remained shut . He was healing slowly, it seemed to be a painful process. His legs were stretched forward on the floor he sat on , they looked tired.
Like a call to something, his eyes opened up. He looked towards his left side . It seemed his ears had caught a persistent sound.
He struggled to get up and began heading towards the direction, supporting his movement by holding onto both sides of the walls of the cave with his hands.
After three turns, he looked up ahead . His eyes blinked uncontrollably to what was in front of him.
April saw him and continued making the desperate humming sound caused by the strap against her mouth which restricted her from speaking. She shook her body too but carefully, to be sure he did see her.
