chapter thirteen

Ye Zhen spent the rest of the day in her room, she laid down on her back and just looked at the ceiling. Then there was a rumbling noise that came from her stomach. A light blush covered her cheeks. She was really hungry Lu Yibei that wicked man she cursed him a thousand times. The medicine she took on an empty stomach isn't helping either.

Just then a light knock is heard.that's strange who could it be, maybe it's Mo Boigan. She walks to the door and opens it and is met with a charming smile. Lu Motin ? what is he doing here. Lu Motin doesn't give Ye Zhen a good feeling, there is something about this man that is not right, he may be playful but he his eyes have a dangerous glint to them. Maybe she is over thinking and has been stressed lately her judgment is all over the place.

"Big Brother Lu Motin how can I be of help to you",she asks. The man rewards with a smile and removes his hands from behind him to reveal a tray with three dishes of food on it.

"Please just call me Lu Motin or just brother in law, we are family and I didn't see you for lunch and Lu Yibei said you were not feeling well so you slept in order to feel better",he says and invites himself on and makes his way to the coffee table " I just had to bring you some food",he says and places everything on the coffee table. He leads her to the couch "Ye Zhen don't be surprised, the gentleman in me wouldn't let me be , knowing that you are sleeping without eating anything, you can take this as an apology for how I behaved early with you",he says and leaves the food.

After he walks out Ye Zhen opens the dishes to see what type of food he brought and when she a strong aroma fills the room. And her throat runs dry, she is human after all looking at the delicious roasted meat who would resist.

She gets her chop sticks begins taking some of the food just as she's about to put some in her mouth she remembers what Lu Yibei's said to her earlier. If he finds out she ate something he'll punish her , but the doctor said he can't do anything to her for a while week besides even if he beats her the food will still be in her stomach already, so after reaching an agreement with herself she begins eating the food quickly.

when she is about to finish her meal the door opens revealing Lu Yibei with a tray of food .

she sees him and feels like she was caught with another man , her chop sticks drop to the ground.

"you just can't help but disobey me can you, doll?",he says and smirks as he walks to her tray in hand.

" I was hungry and the medicine...",the sound of breaking plates interrupts her making her heart almost leap out of her mouth.

He chuckles and asks "who brought you food?, it can't be Mo Boigan because he left, so tell me he says and holds her jaw tight. "tell me the truth Ye Zhen, it would be a shame to dislocate this beautiful fine jaw of yours",he says and kisses her jaw.

What ?, please no ,Mo Boigan left? She swallows hard as tears run down her face" Lu Motin brought me the food, I'm sorry I'll never do it again",she says.

He looks at her tear stained face and smiles before pushing her to the ground. "get someone to clean up this mess, you have one week we will finish this after that ",he says and leaves.
