CHAPTER 11: Blurted Out.

"Annika....? Dexter called and his bottle of drink fell off his hand.

The three just kept staring at them like they've lost their brains.

"Sweet.....mother... Of Dexter!" Dalton counted the words,as he took off his glasses to see them well,his mouth wide opened.

"F**k! I'm dying" Dalton cursed again,and wore them back.

"They're f**king hot! I can't breathe. Where's my drink? I need to hydrate my throat, it is f**king dry" Derek said,still staring,while using his hands to search for his drink.

"Idiot! You poured your drink away" Dalton slapped his head, and began laughing.

Dexter said nothing though, he just kept staring. All his gaze and attention on Annika,as if he's not been seeing her everyday.

"Annika..." He muttered again.

Annika is just so f**king hot!

She has always been,but this party outfit is on fire,revealing all her curves and beauty.

At work she wears normal Office outfit, but this?....fire!

Annika and her friends finally got to them,but acted like they aren't surprised to see them.

Actually, they aren't. Cos Annika had told them about meeting and working in the same place with them already,so it's not something new.

Although, they're surprised to see them here,but they didn't show it.

"Too hot,right?" Sana said, as she went to Derek and closed his mouth that he had refused to close.

She adjusted his shirt,and dusted it for him,even when it obviously looks clean.

"Now you look cuter" She giggled.

"So.....Romantic" Dalton mouthed like a crazy person,and they laughed.

"Mina went to Dalton, sat beside him and collected his drink,taking a gulp from it.

"So,I heard you're married. How many kids do you have now,though?" She asked, chuckling.

"What!? Who the hell told you that big fat lie?

"I swear,I am singularly single" He replied stupidly, and they bursted out laughing.

"Good evening,sir" Annika greeted Dexter, respectfully.

"Huh....?" He mouthed shockingly, and left his mouth opened that way.

He continued staring and admiring her,from up to down.

"What? Aren't you my boss anymore? CEO of KLEIN'S WINERY COMPANY?" Annika derisively said,and they laughed.

She then went close to him and closed his mouth that was still open.

"I know I look too hot,yea. But I seriously don't want flies feasting in my boss's mouth,so close it" She said,and winked at him.

"So....Romantic" Dalton said again, and they laughed.

"I just bought myself a well packaged bag of trouble. But damn! She's f**king hot!" He muffled to himself and shook his head.

"Bye,jerks! It was so sweet meeting you again" Sana said,as they started walking away.

"Are you girls leaving?" Derek asked, staring at them as they walk away.

"No,we're coming. Just sit and wait for us" Mina sarcastically said. Annika and Sana burst out laughing.

Annika and her friends went to a different table, and sat down.

"My gosh! Derek looks more handsome than before" Sana gushed.

"I know, right? They all are now" Mina said,turning to look at them. Surprisingly, they were still staring at them.

"Can't believe they're still staring" She said,chuckling.

"We took them unaware, they never expected us" Sana replied.

"Get us drinks, please" Annika said to the waiter.

He bowed and went in immediately,to get their drinks for them.

While they waited, Sana and Mina stood up and started dancing.

"F**k me!" Derek said, as he watches her dance beautifully.

"I can't take this" Dalton bit his lips.

The waiter then brought their drinks,dropping them on the table while they kept dancing.

While Dalton and Derek kept drooling over Sana and Mina,Dexter wasn't.

He was just looking at them,especially Annika who was swaying her a*ss from side to side.

Dexter just kept his eyes fixed on her,but was saying nothing.

"Shouldn't we go join them" Dalton asked,and Dexter rolled eyes.

"You're not desperate, are you?" He asked, and Dalton scoffed.

They weren't done talking, when Dexter suddenly saw a guy talking to Annika. They even hugged each other,after which he sat very close to her as they began talking.

"F**k! Who the hell is that guy?!" He shouted, and got off his sit,while his friends just stared at him,wondering what's up with him.

He got to them and,grabbed the guy abruptly and pushed him aside.

"Stay away from my Secretary,and keep your distance.

"There's still COVID-19 so,do not contract her with it.

"I can't afford to see her getting sick!" He blurted before he could stop himself.

"Sweet...mother...of monkey milk!" Dalton exclaimed stupidly,slowly taking off his glasses with widened eyes and mouth,same as Derek.

The girls were busy giggling,and smirking.

"Am I stupid or what, what did I just say" Dexter questioned himself.

Annika couldn't utter a word,they both just kept looking at each other in the eye.

ROBERT KLEIN'S MANSION ^^

"What did you say happened to your leg again? I'm not happy with the way you're limping" Janice said,staring at her daughter's leg.

"I already told you that I sprained my ankle while jugging this morning,mom" Verity replied,as she walked out of the kitchen with an apple in her hand.

"Oh,yeah. I totally forgot,sorry hunny,just be careful next time" Janice said,and played with Verity's hair.

"Thanks,mom. It's not something to worry about,I am fine.

"All thanks to Annika though" Verity said,taking a bite from her apple.

She took her laptop and placed it on her thighs,then started operating it.

"Annika....? Who is Annika?" Janice curiously and confusedly asked.

"Oh! Annika is the lady I met today,she was also jugging when she saw me fall and came to my rescue.

"She's the one who massaged my ankle,and eased the pain. I bet I'd not be walking this well if it weren't for her.

"A very beautiful and kind hearted girl" Verity smile,heartily.

"Awww...that's so nice of her. Seems you like her already,with the way you're smiling and saying it"Janice said,smiling too.

"Of course,mom. She's just too beautiful and nice for someone not to like her.

"I so much want her to meet Dexter. I just wish he'd agree to date her for real"She smiled,cutely.

"And Wendy?"Janice asked.

"I don't like her,and will never like her. Besides,they broke up,so I don't see why he cannot date someone else.

"They did not breakup,he left her. He called...Look,I don't even want to talk about it,because it pisses me up whenever I remember what he did. Your brother has suddenly become a playboy"Janice said,and sighed.

"Mom,we don't even know why he did what he did,stop calling him a Playboy please"Verity said,frowning.

"How would we know when he has refused to tell us the reason why he did what he did"Janice replied.

"I don't know,mom. All I want is the best for my brother,and definitely not Wendy" Verity said.

"And you think he won't leave Anita for another woman if they end up dating?"Janice shouted.

"Her name is Annika,mom,not Anita. Stop spoiling that beautiful and lovely name" Verity chuckled,and her mom laughed.

"Silly girl. Look,hunny,it's not like I'm against anyone being your brother's girlfriend or anything.

"He's my son,and I also want the best for him. It's just his sudden playboy life,and the fact that he left Wendy without giving any reasons why,is what I am angry at him for.

"I don't want my baby contacting any deadly disease from the numerous girls he sleeps with" Janice said,sadly.

"I understand you very well,mom. But try talking to him again and again,ask him why" Verity said.

"I wish he would say why,your brother is just too stubborn" Janice sighed.

"He's not only my son though,he's also your brother,so talk to him too" She added.

"I am his younger sister,he won't even listen to me" Verity rolled eyes,and Janice sighed.

"He should just quit his playboy life,and have that big company before your dad changes his mind and hands it over that boy he calls his son" Janice said,referring to Roland.
