Deranged Woman

The police had instantly taken custody of Leah, with Leah shouting, "Noooooooooooooooooooo!" in loud outbursts, like a deranged woman. Consequently, her men were also taken. Fortunately, the fire that had started in the building basement, was put out immediately. Soon after, a careful assessment of the situation there was conducted by the police. Luckily, the fire station had been quick to respond to the call, as well. It was safe to poke around by then, as signalled by the expert firefighters. The police busied themselves in picking up as much evidence as they could gather, from the partly burned building. The involvement of the media press was prevented due to Vincent's influence. He made sure that this whole incident was hushed so that the reputation of the Johnson and Smith family would be protected.
