Fiona sighed, folding her arms. "But how do you know that? You haven't even spoken to her," she said while Phil and Elena watched them, not knowing if they should interrupt them or not.
"I don't need to," Liam replied, his jaw tight. "Did you hear the way she spoke to Phil? She's still the same Harriet, still angry, still trying to pull the strings, Fi. She doesn't want forgiveness and she isn't sorry or feeling regretful. She wants control just let her be," Liam said and Phil decided to respond, his expression thoughtful.
"What Liam's saying is true, Fi. I'm surprised you're even speaking up for her after all she's done. Look, you heard her, all of us did. She didn't sound like someone who's trying to make amends. She sounds more like someone who's panicking because things aren't going her way. Don't mistake it for anything else," Phil said and Liam nodded.
