Niela's POV
Wake up sis"
"Mphh!"
"You are gonna be late wake up Nie"
"Ngg!"
"Nie"
"Leave me alone Shaun I want to sleep"
"Get up you are going to be late"
"Let me be arghh!"
"Its 7:45 wake up Nie, else I'm gonna eat your brownies. Ok sleep more brownies for me"
"Say what now. Don't you dare" I woke up playfully glaring at him
"Yeah , yeah hurry up. Mom's gone so I'm going to drop you" he said going out
"Alright I will be down in ten" I told him closing the door
I did what I had to do that includes taking a shower, brushing my teeth, getting my hair done then finally where the trouble lays. What outfit should I wear. After the little stunt I pulled I want to look confident and new not the old Niella. I want to show that useless excuse of a human Mindy that I don't care that she totally seduced and wrapped my ex boyfriend around her finger.
After dumping most of my clothes on my bed I finally found the one. My pink cropped tank top that says 'GO FUCK YOURSELF BITCH' and my high waist ripped jeans.
This would do the job. I was now grinning devilishly.
I went down for my brownies and breakfast.
"Wow sis you look…." Shaun was dumbfounded
Nice I pulled this off. I seriously need to go shopping ughh!
"Thanks now close your mouth before you catch a fly" I said teasingly
***At the school***
"Have a good day sis" Shaun said winking at me
"Thanks. You will be coming to pick me up right" I asked him
"Yeah so that we can go pick up Dad from the airport" he said
"Alright see ya later" I said getting out of his car
Immediately I entered the hallway the whispering and the stares became a little overbearing. I headed towards my locker. I saw Tory leaning on my locker. I sighed.. looks like its going to be a long day.
"Hey Tory" I said as I approached her
"Hi Nie. You promised to explain what happened yesterday so I thought why not wait for you here" she said giving me one of her innocent smiles.
"So you couldn't wait till lunch time" I asked giggling
This girl sure likes to gossip. Tory and I have been friends since diaper days our parents were bestfriends since high school. We have been together since we do everything together. People even thought that we were twins since we celebrate the same birthday.
" Well since you couldn't tell me over the phone I got curious and you know how I get when I become curious." She said
Hell yeah I knew she could eat a whole bucket of ice cream till her brain freezes. I recall when we were about 9 years and our birthday was almost due and she accidentally eveasdropped on our parents conversation and heard that they had gotten some tickets for us. she didn't really know where we were going she practically begged Shaun to tell her but he was adamant when he said no. Out of frustration she went to the kitchen and brought out a bucket of ice cream and ate she became sick the next day nothing serious though just a minor migraine and cold. Recalling that incident made me chuckle.
"Nie don't tell me you are thinking about the incident before our trip to Disney Land again" she said with her face turning red.
" I'm sorry I just cant help it" I told her
"Hughh whatever" she said flipping it off
"Yeah so Edward broke off things between us yesterday and he is now with Mindy out of frustration I did a victory dance to irk him and told Mindy that my mom thought me how to give out my used toys when I get tired of 'em cause she was trying to make me turn green and I ditched school spent the whole day at the park and went home late because I didn't check the time then mom gave me some pretty good advice it boosted my confidence and now here I am in school " I spoke very fast whilst smiling
"Ok so let me get this straight Edward broke things off and you irked him right" she asked
I nodded
"Girl you were on fire I saw the video but I couldn't catch what the conversation was about or why he was with Mindy. Well you are trending now since the video has gone viral" she told me
Oh no! No! No that must be why the students were whispering when I entered. Gosh what a mess I wanted to irk Mindy not make myself the new trend before College .Ugh way to go Niella you are now going to be the talk of the school hopefully for a week.
The rest of the day went by. The whispering didn't stop though everywhere I passed it was either someone congratulating me upon flipping Mindy off my back or it was one of her minions glaring at me.
Shaun came by to pick me up from there we went to pick up my Dad and he was damn happy. I smiled....the old couldn't stop talking about how he missed them and how his work went. If anyone should come inside the house right now they might think he travelled for years with how he is talking. Words full of joy at long last a distraction for this hectic day.
