Silly Girl

Darren arrived at Charlotte's resident. The estate was quiet and serene. Sometimes he wondered if all these ladies can't keep themselves.

Charlotte Edward is an A lister actress whom he met few months ago. It was her elder brother who brought her to his company to entice him. Though he refused to keep women beside him, he doesn't reject them when they asks for his contact and his assistant would help with it.

Charlotte was applying a lip gloss on her lips when her door bell rang. She stood from where she was sitting and head towards the entrance door.

Surprisedly, when she opened the door, it was the sight of Darren that welcomed her.

"Darren! I thought you won't come!" Charlotte was amazed by his handsome profile. Her eyes twinkling in satisfaction that a man like him would come to visit her.

"My butler told me you'd like to see me after my return. Here I'm and I believe I don't owe you anything," Darren didn't spare her a glance.

Charlotte's ego was hurt that he didn't look at her. She was beautiful and irresistible every man would want a woman like her.

In the entertainment industry where she was signed under, she was the envy of other actress as they admire her beauty.

Charlotte started acting three years ago and she became popular for her beauty and her skill for acting. She could grasp any man between her fingers but this man was the hardest to get.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you. It's been a while since we last met in your office so I thought we could talk. I haven't forget you gave me your contact, " Charlotte blush a little and smiled.

Darren turned to face the girl. "What are we talking about?" he stared into her eyes.

Charlotte flip her hair backward and touch his smooth thick neck."I thought you would love to see me again and besides, you're here now... "

"Go straight to the point," Darren was getting impatient.

"I want to be your woman, Darren. Beside you," Charlotte said shamelessly. If she could lay her hands on this man, the Media and her entertainment industry will worship her.

"I certainly don't need a woman like you," Darren was blunt. "How silly of me not to say earlier, I now have a sweet little woman with me now," Darren emphasized for this girl to know where she stands.

Her brother might be an acquaintance that doesn't mean she could behave nonsensically.

Charlotte clutch her dress tightly in jealousy. She knew this man doesn't have a woman but he certainly can't lie.

"Okay," she replied slowly.

"And also... don't ever contact me. I like my space," Darren said and turned to leave before exiting the apartment building.

Elena unwrap the lolipop and put it into her mouth as she walk leisurely down the staircase. It has been two weeks living here and she have come to understand everything and every person in the mansion.

She head towards the entrance and opened the door only to bump into someone.

The familiar scent wafted through Elena's nose. She flinch and looked up to find Darren standing with a grin on his handsome face.

"You should learn to look up when walking Elena. And not head butting people," Darren said and rub the part of her forehead that had turn red.

Elena smiled and messed up his hair by grazing it with her fingers.

Darren step inside the mansion and saw it was empty. "Where's Nick," he asked with a sour look on his face. This idiot was supposed to watch her.

"I'm here boss," a young handsome guy in his early twenties said and grinned. Nick was sitting behind the pillars and fixed his gaze on the young miss every movements.

He knew Elena was the shy type so he always give her space. The butler told him that Elena being uncomfortable around Dan was the reason Darren swapped him.

"What are you doing at the back of a pillar? For instance Elena opened the door and ran into a bad guy, what will you do?" Darren was upset.

Nick swallowed and his throat turned dry. It was true but he was trying to respect Elena's privacy.

"I think Percival will do a better job as a bodyguard," Darren's sentence made sweat broke on Nick's forehead and ran down his back.

"It won't happen again," Nick said dolely. He didn't want to go back to the headquarters.

Darren felt a tug on his sleeve, moving him eyes back to Elena, "you need cuddling?"

Elena blush and faced another part of the room.

Nick gulp and lowered his fur ball head. "I shall leave now, boss," he excused himself so the couple could have their privacy.

[I miss Dan and Kyle, they're less boring] Elena wrote on her whiteboard when they got to Darren's room.

Darren who was unbuttoning his sleeve saw what she wrote and looked at her. "You want me to bring them back and take Nick away?" To Darren, Nick was the best bodyguard for Elena.

Elena nodded and showed him three of her fingers.

"You want the three of them to live with us?" Darren asked as he removed the last button on his sleeve.

Elena paused and gaze at his manly broad chest. Nice shoulder blades and masculine abs, she blushed and went towards the couch.

Darren stare at Elena, he didn't know what made her react like that. He went towards her and Elena shut her eyes as warm shades of red crept on her face.

"Silly girl," he commented when he saw she was blushing because of his body.

Elena sat on Darren's bed and waited for him to shower himself. After few minutes, he came out and Elena eyes went wide dumbfounded.

She blushed even more, Darren was having a white big towel around his waist, the towel seems it was going to fall off any moment but her thoughts were wrong because it was held tightly.

Elena rolled her eyes and fell back on the bed in exasperation.
