Remorseful And Guilty
As soon as Vanessa matched into Alex's office, her eyes flashing with anger. Ben who was busy with some documents rose once he saw her.
"Hello, Ms Scott!" He greeted with a polite bow not understanding why she looked pissed or how Alex had known she would be this way.
"I want to see Mr. Moore. Is he in?" She asked, glaring at Alex's office door as though she could see through it to the person she believed was seated there.
Why was she still referring to her lover as Mr. Moore when their relationship was public knowledge already? Ben mused.
"Mr. Moore is not in the office right now. But he left a message for you," Ben said, and Vanessa turned her angry green eyes to him to hear what the message was.
"He said to ask her to calm down…."
"Calm down? No, he didn't!" She cut in angrily as she dialed his line on her phone.
