Another Crazy Ecounter.
"Kyle Reuben Croft, I haven't given birth to a bad son, have I?" A stern voice echoed through the phone the moment Kyle answered what would be his mother's fifth call this week, and he rolled his eyes heavenward.
"Good morning to you too, mom. I hope you had a good sleep?" He inquired as he stepped out of the elevator and started for his car which was sandwiched among cars in the parking lot.
"I had a good sleep. What about you?" She asked, her voice reverting back to normal and Kyle almost scoffed at it. His mother and her award-winning theatrics.
"I slept as much as I required." He told her, not wanting to lie about having a good sleep, because that was something he lacked since he kick-started the project of opening a new branch.
He heard her sigh. "You voice says it all. You should find sometime to rest." She told him, her motherly concern hinting heavily in her voice, and Kyle couldn't help but roll his eyes again.
