Carl hastened to chew his food and replied, "Yes. We were going to the Bogarde to fight against them."

There was a moment of silence as Albert prepared his next bite. It was just simple spaghetti. But dinner was not only about food but also about gathering together.

Oh, Kate must be happy to see everyone at home.

"It was a splendid match."

And Carl just blinked to make sure what he heard was true. His father praised him? He meant the team. That was the first time.

"Yeah, even if you lose," he continued.

Carl still couldn't believe his hearing. So, he didn't respond.

"I saw them practicing." Suddenly, Max joined at just the right moment. "But I don't think it was club training. It was the class. Even so, they trained hard," he added.
