Chapter five: On time

Lari gets home and slumps down the couch and sighs heavily. Thinking about what took place in the office today, *my boss is a jerk I swear* she thought.

"Well from your look I can tell your day wasn't all sunshine?" asked Abby coming from the kitchen.

"oh no it wasn't. Am so hungry didn't eat lunch and breakfast too" Kari said moving to the kitchen. "Henry sure hasn't forgiven me yet. Like seriously I only soiled his shoes and not even on purpose"

"Well that's Henry for you. An egoistic person but let's not forget handsome"Abby said while dishing out some food she made for dinner since she left work early.

"Ihmm God this taste like heaven. Henry didn't let me eat lunch gave me some work to do and when I was done, guess what he said?"

"What did he say" asked Abby eagerly.

"Dump it in the trash" Lari replied mimicking Henry's voice.

"ouch that's unfair. now I like him less. Abby said pouting

"Ya right, thanks for the meal love. I need some sleep my back is killing me and my hands are dead. please tomorrow I don't care what it takes but please wake me up. slap or pour water on me" Lari tells Abby while climbing the stairs and yawning

"That should be fun, I'll go for the slap"

Lari goes to her room and before going to sleep she send Anna an email requesting for Henry's schedule for tomorrow. Taking a quick bath and brushing her teeth she climbs her bed and drifts off to la la land.

waking up the next day at 5:30 she takes her bath and other morning routine and left her room. seeing as Abby is still at sleep, she decides to make breakfast

"good morning best your up early (chuckles) I guess you don't want to get punish again huh" Abby asked while moving to the table to have her breakfast.

"your already dress for work? u thought you had the evening shift today?"

"well yeah I do but am helping a friend she's got issue at home" Abby replied while eating. "you know you should get a good job, this janitor work is not for you. You studied furthered Literature and English to becomes a teacher not some janitor" Lari said to Abby

"I have tried Lari but I just don't get in, am not as Persistent as you are. I don't have that patience to keep on trying and trying. I always get an um Miss we'll call you" Abby said while standing up and heading towards the door "Bye Lari see you in the evening" after saying that steps out living Lari alone. Lari follows Ber later and goes to work. teaching there at exactly working hours going in greeting the lady at the front desk who only smiled. she goes to the canteen and makes Henrys coffee takes it to his office. she knocks on the door and drops the Coffee

Henry

well she's early today I bet yesterday's punishment is the reason for her coming early today. "Good morning sir" she says dropping my coffee in the desk. "morning" I replied her. she removes a little book and tears out my appointments. "You've got a meeting with the finance domain at eight and at exactly 9:30 you've got a breakfast meeting with the C.E.O of Wilson's cooperation, a have lunch with Mr Adams. He wants to invest in the company and a dinner date with your mother at 6:00 sir. hmm OK then you can leave and make sure to remind me and also get the board room ready for the meeting. and cancel my meeting with Mr Adams I don't need him."

"OK sir, anything else" she asked. "No, now go"

Lari goes and prepare the board room. and ten minutes later the meeting was going on according to what was said sells are going up. the meeting lasted for like thirty minutes. and at nine Lari reminds Henry about the meeting with the C.E.O of Wilson's cooperation. When it was time Henry and Lari where already at the appointed place, Mr Wilson and Henry talked for about 40mins talking on a business deal and finally the deal was sealed, Henry left living Mr Wilson there since he had another meeting. Abby thought that since Henry canceled his meeting with Mr Adams she is free for the afternoon she did a happy dance in her head. well she doesn't know that Henry has another thing install for her in the office.

when the arrived at the office Henry called Lari into the his office and gives her some paper work " I need you to copy this word to word and correct any errors and later on print it out and clip it and bring it to me. I need it before the end of office hours" there was a moment of silence and Henry actually thought that Lari is sleeping eyes open. well that was before she said "wait what sir? but I thought"

"are you questioning my orders miss wills? u guess you don't like your job" Henry said with a smirk on his face Lari shook her head and walks today after hearing Henry say "Don't think about lunch if you are not done". Lari goes to her office to finish the work.
