"So dark in here, I can't see"

Zack didn't know if he goes blind or in the middle of a room without any light source from the windows. He can't tell how long he's been there because the last thing he remember was buying a cake and riding a train to his hometown, to his mother.

'ugh' Zack grunts "My head hurts, but it doesn't feel physically".

He couldn't guess if his eyes are open or not because right now, it seems like all his senses left his very body. Trying to move was useless, it felt like he's petrified. He also tried to shout but nothing seems to come out from his mouth.

"I don't know what's going on but it feels like I'm dead" Zack jokingly said thinking that his life should've been more happy.

While he's in the middle of thinking about what's going on or where he's at, he noticed that something's bugging his mind. It feels like a sudden thought entered his brain to inform him that something big was about to happen.

"Oh sh*t! what's this? what did I forgot?"

He's going back and forth inside his mind, thinking about all the important events and things. "aside from my birthday, there wasn't anything important going on the same day". he's asking himself if he forgot to turn up all his projects to his boss.

"No! oh wait, that's not it. Did I leave the house open and just remember it? now? of all the time??". He shouts "oh no, that's not it either. Maybe i'm just overthinking it".

Now that his mind has come to a never ending stock-market-phase going up and down, he noticed something on the upper corner of his right eye. At first he thought it was light coming from outside wherever he's in, but when he tried to look at its direction, it seems to be following his eye.

"what's this? a subtitle? IN REAL LIFE?!" he can't think straight if he's imagining things because he's hungry, not that he can feel hunger anyways. Or this is something else.

"Now that I noticed it, it looks like a bomb timer. What am I supposed to do to this thing?" Focusing on the timer, a screen appeared in front of Zack.

A big timer [00:07:18] appeared after his face at the center of the screen, just below the timer, there are four more section he can read.

"WHAT THE F*CK?! What is going on, am I high right now? Did someone drugged me?!". Zack couldn't help but shout. He's dumbfounded at he moment. He's trying to wrap-up things and fortunately, he got some idea to what is happening.

'Okay calm down, Zack. Just think about it, you bought cake- then you wait to the train, and then...'

"HOLY F*CK! I died?! I was just joking earlier about being dead!" Zack is now panicking at the very back of his mind. "Alright, don't cry over spilled milk, Zack" he said to himself while looking at the screen in front of him.

"A timer, got it. and then there's [Stats], [Shop], [Tasks], and [Notifications]. It looks exactly like the game I used to play back in highschool!" Zack told to himself.

While looking at the four sections, the only thing that seem to be openable is the [Notifications] tab. "Notifications? alright, let's see what you got".

As he open the [Notifications] tab, a flood of recent notices from the system appeared after his face.

"Wow that's a lot of notifications! and what's this?! FOUR WEEKS AGO? YOU GOTTA BE SH*TTING ME!" Zack is dumbfounded by the sudden burst of notifications in his mind but he tried to find a notification regarding his whereabouts.
