Chapter Forty Nine: Butterfly Feelings
Jackia's point of view
When the doctor came around, he checked every single thing, but nothing was said to me or my maid, nor was anything said to the Alpha, just that the king had to be informed.
I still don't get it why should the king be told what's wrong with me? and I have no right what so ever to be told. The alpha and the doctor left my room, leaving me and my maid to stare at each other, not knowing what to do.
When we were together, my maid rushed to my side and asked, "Miss Jackia, how are you feeling now?" She looked so worried about me that I couldn't bear to see her this sad. "I am fine," I said in a low voice.
She smiled at me as tears rolled down her eyes. "I am glad you're fine. I just hope you are doing great. I am sure the doctor will find you some drugs to help you, but for now you have to rest and eat healthy."
