Disappointment.

I woke up, feeling hopeless and sad, as I realized that nothing happened.

"So it only affects me, huh?" I said to myself trying to be positive.

I immediately thought of the foreigner yesterday, thinking that it is possible to bring someone else.

After school and my part time job ended, I immediately went home and wrote:

"After going home from school, I met an old man, my grandfather. I've only seen him once during the funeral of my dad. 1 minute later, I saw a llama in a distant. I then went home, and sketched a picture of my dad's face on my notebook."

Surely enough, tomorrow, the same feeling happened again. I felt ants crawling on my head, but it disappeared few minutes later after waking up. At school, I saw Mr. Kuroyama at the hallway and he greeted me in English. Surprised, I simply said "Good morning Teacher" in English. As expected, it was the same British English that I used during the exam. Entering the class, our teacher Ms. Monica, a half japanese-american was teaching art, specifically on sketching.

She asked us to sketch the face of the person in front of us. I got paired with a classmate, and I drew his face on the paper. Surprisingly, it felt super easy and natural. I can see everything on his face, his shape, his jaw, the shadows, everything. When I drew his face I can feel how the pencil feels very second nature for me, as I feel the complete control over everything in the sketch. I finished sketching but the results felt normal for me, although I know that it's way above my skills. My teacher, Ms. Monica saw my sketch and paused for a second, I was able to saw her eyes gleaming with admiration and surprise.

"You, Ken, where did you learn to draw? Your sketch is astounding." she asked

"I've been practicing sketching for a month now" I lied, as I can't ever tell or explain to anyone.

"A month? You must be a genius in art, this is too amazing." She said

"To be honest, If we were to compare our drawings I felt like yours will be way more superior than mine." She then whispered, and winked.

My sketch, were then put on the wall by Ms Monica. Then, the classmates of mine were all looking at my sketch and I can see the look on their faces. Admiration, jealousy, and surprised.

"Wow", "This is amazing.."

I can't wait to hear what Akari-san will say about this. So after school, I simply walked home, anticipating my grandfather and a llama.

Tick, tock. I felt the sound of the invisible clock.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

I went home feeling disappointed, but felt joyful after remembering what happened today. As I went to the convenience store, I can see Akari-san with her little brother, who seems to be in kindergarten. I drew her brother's face and gave it to Akari-san, surely the way she reacted reminds me of Ms. Monica.

"Woah... Kenn! How did you do this? You were speaking English a couple days ago and now you're drawing like Vincent Van Gogh! Are you a genius?!" She said excitedly
