Chapter 3

Chin's POV

My eyes got widened and put my face closer to the book . '' this is insane!!'' I shouted.

I closed the book and reopened it , '' I swear this was blank before, what on earth just happened? ''Should I read it ? ''.

ROAINEE

(Flashback )

This poor girl went running to the woods , she's like a 13 year old girl with a blonde short hair and it's like she's been chased or something, her slippers got stucked in a mud and it broke so she has to run barefooted to keep on going , she shouted help but no one's there to save her , after that tiring run into the woods , she found herself at the abandoned house . She went inside and hid .

(Story got paused)

Chin got mesmerized by the picture on the book unto the next page when he flipped it. '' UNBELIEVABLE '' he mumbled and couldn't get his eyes off the book. He picked his phone up again took a picture and sent it to Luan.

(Luan and Chin's convo )

'' This is crazy!! this girl is identical to you in some way , the hair , the looks !I mean how's even that possible?''.

'' Chin! what kind of book is that? how on earth could someone paint my face on a book? ''.

'' this was the book I mentioned earlier the book with no title , no authors and illustrators that has been written ''.

'' Stop playing around Chin! its giving me negative vibes ''.

'' No I'm serious , I'm going to bring this book tomorrow at school whether you like it or not , one question, maybe you guys are related to this person ''.

'' Chin! stop! ''

'' K fine! I gotta finish reading this chapter, see yah Luan''.

(Back to the Story )

'' I can't let them get their hands on me '' Roainee cried and took a little vial in her pocket, '' there's no way they're gonna succeed . She drank the vial and fell to the ground ''.

'' She poisoned herself? why? ''

Chin continued reading the remaining texts when there's a little unexpected message that wasn't part of the chapter .

'' WHOSE GONNA BE NEXT? ''

Chin quickly closed the book and took a deep breath .

The rain started getting stronger just as his mother arrived home from work. '' Chin you home ? ''

Chin hid the book inside his backpack and pretended that he's doing homework just right after his door's room got opened by his mom.

'' have you seen the book ? ''

'' what book? '' he can't look at his mom's eyes and continued getting busy .

'' hmm It might have just dropped somewhere downstairs, sorry for the interruption honey ''.

Chin just nodded .

(The next morning , At school )

All four of Chin's friends standing right next to him and he opened the book and put it on the center of the table.

'' you see guys? it definitely looks like Luan ''.

'' 100% accurate '' Brent replied.

'' Maybe you guys are related or something'' Zoey added and looked at Luan.

'' Heh! really? maybe this is just a work of fiction, more or less , Chin just made this up ! ''. Luan strongly disagrees.

'' I can't write stories Luan nor draw '' Chin smirked.

'' maybe you needed help from Lander ''

'' huh? what about me ?!'' Lander curiously asked and raised his eyebrows. '' we know that Lander write some stories ''.

'' Uhmm.. from medieval period and stuffs. I know this seems unbelievable Luan but this is totally legit! and the worst part is ... '' Chin flipped the next page and let his friends read the short text.

'' Whose gonna be... what?! ugh too much nonsense'' Luan sat down at her chair having a grumpy face.

'' Okay '' Elliot , Brent and Zoey became speechless.

Lander went near at the table of where the book was . '' Is there any chance that I can borrow this book? '' he asked for Chin's permission.

He is a certified bookworm in their batch , a nerd who loves writing historical facts , he is the most intelligent person in their class when it comes to math and History and he just loves reading books as much as he likes writing.

'' sorry but no! there's something about this book that needed to be figured out , this is not just an ordinary book ,tell me I'm insane, a stupid crazy person but my guts is telling me that something is up'' he looked at the book and gasped. '' This was the creepy house I've been telling you about ''.

Luan came back to the group conversation, '' I may have tired of all this nonsense for a day but interesting''.

'' Can I look at the cover page'' Lander requested.

'' take your time ''. Chin replied.

'' I haven't seen this kind of book before, and to the fact that almost everything is blank , the author of this book must have already died ''.

'' Maybe you got a point but believe me this book is so mysterious''. Chin looked at Lander .

'' Excuse me! '' one of their classmates swept the table and the book fell on the floor .

'' Hally! '' Zoey rolled her eyes.

'' because of her I don't want to be the I'm such a nice person beh, anytime of the day , wonder when will she feel my punches '' Brent said sarcastically.

She is a spoiled brat who always gets in everyone's nerves . She's one of their worst classmate in their batch , the disrespectful one, the show off , and she's a type of person that filipinos call the ''pabida '' one . She is a talented diva and is so called the drama queen , people tend to follow the things she asked for .

'' calm down mah friend '' Elliot put his hands on Brent's shoulders.

'' I forgot some powder, can someone hand me one!! '' Hally shouted.

'' there she goes '' Luan whispered.

Someone hand her down some powder when...

'' seriously? you're letting me use this cheap brand ? do you want my beautiful skin to have allergies! '' Hally throwed the powder bottle at the girl's face.

'' How rude! '' Brent got mad and went near Hally.

'' Say sorry '' his two eyebrows got closer.

'' what if I wont ! '' Hally glared at Brent.

'' If you think you're the bravest b*tch here you're wrong , karma will be on it's way ''.

He turned his back on Hally and walked away from here , '' you'd be thankful you're a woman , I can't hit you ''. Brent scoffs.
