Nigel pov

Rest of the day was spent doing terms learning close combat just in case the driver had to encounter some Fighters when everything was quiet, and I sat in the room that was prepared for me I started watching some cable it has been so long since I had watch TV I forgot how advanced it had gotten more and more shows that were literally pointless,when the news came on they started talking about Emmys movie I Have nothing play began to play a video of her singing the single I will always love you from the soundtrack of the movie.

I've had in front of the TV endlessly staring into her face as she began to sing the light Illuminating the room around me I didn't care who saw I was just captivated by her future I really falling in love with her no I couldn't tell your part time job just something to get me back in my game element, I cannot let my emotions get the best of me I was neglectful of my last client and they ended up dying and I can't let that happen again not on my watch. But something about the way she sang that beautiful Melody just that song Hit the climax captivated me, pulling me in tighter not letting go. I was enraptured.

Emmy pov

That Nigel Diggs I don't really like him but he is kind of good looking what am I saying that man is ugly vile he's such a douchebag he walks in here like you did the king of the place start making all of these changes is my house but then again, it's low-key brown eyes do in the load. get out of my head after Focus I have to prepare for but the meetings tomorrow everything I just have to forget about him he's not even there. I want to go to let my stupid emotions get the best of me I'm a superstar what would I be getting a man like him why do I even think that I can have a shot with him on my level.

she said pointing out the window down to Nigel's run, the light glared through the window as I caught a good glimpse of what he was watching, he looked so captivated by it so when I saw what it was my cheeks grill hot for a second as I grew into my soul.

I say Timmy Lee Bailey hiding the truth. They seem to believe me and leave me alone about it. In my head I'm smiling rolling on the floor. How does he look like a man when he's watching that video of me? Who am I kidding? I am the lovely Emmy Maron.

The next day Nigel went with Emmy to have brunch with the girls, when they got there they were going to buy it with people asking for pictures and autographs Emmy what's that type of superstar that was always up for a fan service when it was inopportune times but always wanted to make our fans happy not because she wanted them to be loyal and always be with her, but because she wasn't like most Superstars always thinking she was above them she is neither below although she is an equal some people see it as she is saying that she is close to a gods but she doesn't think that's true.

a little girl came running up towards her trying to hug her but Nigel pushed her back everybody was stung by him pushing a little girl.

Robert: what are you doing that's a little girl don't push little girls, now sweetie where's your mother

The girl: right here

her mother came standing behind her holding her by her shoulders.

The mom: I'm so sorry if she calls you any disturbance. She would really love a picture for your autograph you're one of my favorite actors and singers.

The little girl gave a big smile as emmy got down on her level and gave her a hug, she's in Placida to pull a notepad out of her pocket with a pen and wrote her autograph on it and handed it to the little girl, "now I would love to take a picture with you" emmy say glaring back at Nigel. The little girl's mother pulled out her camera and stood in front of Emmy and her and snapped the picture before shaking Emmy's hand and taking her girl by the hand and leaving.

Emmy: you don't push band especially one that don't even pass your elbow

she said pushing him aside and walk into the brunch spot

Robert: look don't ever do that again you're going to hurt your Public Image if that gets into the little we're not paying you to hurt her reputation we're paying you to keep her safe now do just that and stay out here.

He mapped that Nigel as he walked in behind Emmy and tomas, he took a seat by the front door and ordered himself a coffee and a bagel.

3 hours later

3 hours head slowly gone by as he waited outside for emmy to be done with her brunch, when she came out if quickly got up and threw his stuff in the trash and got in the car they went back to the house and when they got there they noticed something they were being followed by a black BMW truck.

Nigel slowly open the door very cautiously not trying to alert the people in that car as they drove up into the driveway stopping at the gate when he peered his head out started down the road, Nigel hopped out of the car closing the door and tap the top of the roof yelling take it into the house Frank quitely obeyed his orders as the gates open as Nigel ran through the field of construction workers working on the house and along the brush. he didn't have a clear shot to the car but when he had an opening he jumped out trying to hop onto the car but fails it's zoomed off down the road that's got up and wiped himself off.

When you finally got back to the house, always quiet, Emmy was in a frenzy about what just happened at the brunch spot.

Emmy; Thomas I told you I didn't like this. I knew this wouldn't be a good idea. It's going around pushing little kids that want a picture. What do you think the media is going to say when they say oh Emmy Maron's bodyguard is pushing little kids away from having a picture? you know you better fix this you got to set him straight cuz if he does that again I'm firing him I don't care about your judgment if he's going to keep doing that.

Tomas: look look it was only a one-time mistake he was just only doing his job he is trained by the FBI who cut him some slack he's just a little tightly wound

Emmy; okay but one more slip-up and he's gone

She acted as if she didn't notice me walking to the bar area where she was making her drink, and maybe she didn't notice me at all but I really didn't care if Thomas walked over to me patting me on the shoulder leading me out onto the patio.

Tomas: Look Nigel, I know you were only doing your job but you have to lighten up. You must understand that a superstar comes with responsibility. Fan service is a part of it. Now they seem suspicious, try to intervene a bit but now put your hands on them unless it's absolutely necessary.

Nigel: Okay but that car that was following us was about to turn into the driveway. Have you talked to the police about this by any chance?

Tomas: we have but they said there wasn't much they could do something with only some notes, until we have a name of who the suspect might be but isn't much we can do we just have to wait it out and see

Nigel: wait around and see what until she has a barrel of a gun facing her head

Tomas: keep it down, we just have to wait until we can get some more insight on who this person might be. Can you be a little more patient

Nigel: fine, so you don't need to keep explaining I get it now what are we doing for the rest of the day

Tomas: you're going clothes shopping and you're going to be The Driver as well as The Bodyguard Frank is getting his cast off soon so he's out for a while

Nigel: well just my luck…

Later that day Nigel took Emmy to a quite rather common looking store. Usually Superstars would be shopping at stores that were very expensive but she seemed to have a taste for more simpler clothes. Nigel didn't question it just went with it confused as to why she wasn't like others. she was worried about a store owner then she walked in you must have been a regular. Nigel Knew he may tend to seem a little too observant but it comes with the job having to pay attention to every intricate detail is part of keeping someone safe isn't h e thought to himself.

After around an hour of her shopping they started bickering back and forth on the way home she wanted to know why he was so uptight it's so cold towards people, it seems as if she was interrogating him like she was a secret service agent she acts cold cardi questions that he knew he couldn't answer because of his past. But that was one he could answer. Why is he so strict? She knew that being a bodyguard came with limitations to what a person can do but limitations such as this are outlandish and unnecessary .

Nigel: Well the only reason why I'm doing this is because well it's my job so I get paid to protect not make friends. I stay emotionally distant from my client because sometimes life gets blurred between client and protector.

Emmy: what did you get emotionally invested in someone and then lose them on the job?

Nigel: well yes

Emmy: Who might I ask?

Nigel: that's classified information and anyway it's none of your business

She remains silent after his remark the rest of the ride home was filled with awkward silence is the old music that played on repeat on the radio he mood to that he had created between then made an Awkward the tension between them, but they also had a sexual tension with each other you could tell he was attracted to her and she could tell she was attracted to him I found it hard to hide it but did their best and it seem to be working. But in their heads they both thought it would never work.

Two months later Had shortly gone by in a Flash

Nigel pov

I was showing Frank how to check for the brakes being cut and other things that might be able to cause any issues with the car without having to go to a mechanic when we silently heard footsteps coming towards the car, we looked up to see Robert, Thomas, and Emmy coming out of the house.

Nigel: I forgot the show

Lunchables into the car Nigel and Frank upfront keeping watch for pedestrians and other threats that might come along the way emmy tomas and Robert and back talking with emmy next show was going to be in about the specs of the theater she was performing at.

Tomas: What surface is your first performance in 2 months? We obviously couldn't grab a big venue so we got you a nightclub which is pretty popular but nothing ever happens there but you know every once in a while there will be some little tumblers on the rocks.

Emmy; but I won't be a problem as long as everybody's having a good time so am I

Emmy was a free-spirited woman didn't really care about all the big details but when the time came to care she did you like living life on the edge without limitations that's probably why she became a superstar to supersaurus can do whatever they want when they want them because they have the money but she actually is pretty modest even though shoes Philthy Rich which would then I Nigel or Frank will ever be, she has a son my son doesn't seem to be uptight and anyway so she definitely raised her right is very smart probably one of the best schools in the damn town.

People followed them down the steps trying to get into her dress when we got an autograph or gave her something only about four gifts got Through the door before they had to shut two boxes of chocolates into bouquets of flowers.

Emmy; they're really excited, aren't they robert!?

Robert: they are sweety now get yourself together you go on in 10

Amy began to prep her hair and makeup as Thomas came rushing in with a note in hand.

Tomas: another one came

Emmy: another what

Robert: nothing sweety "what the hell tomas"

Emmy; whatever it is i can take it

She snaches the note from his hand andreads it, her eyes grow wide when she reaches the end, she stares at Robert and Thomas with a menacing glare.

Emmy: so you didn't tell me there's more like this

Robert: yes several more and someone was in the house

Emmy: you all didn't think to tell me that someone wanted to kill me!

Robert: I wanted to but they told me not to okay, do you want to leave or not…

Nigel: It would be for her best interest to go home until we can be sure of her safety

Emmy: look there are almost 200 people here tonight and i won't let them down no matter what, i am performing

nigel:Well if you're going to perform make sure nothing happens on stage, frank you left the stage and you big guy…

Donald: donald

Nigel: cover the exits

Robert: okay we've gotta get you onto the stage for your performance

Emmy gets done with preparing for her performance and goes out onto the stage. Everyone Begins to cheer as she walks out and drops her cloak revealing her outfit.
