I began to pack my stuffs when I heard Marcus walk away from Allison. She looked sad, and I knew it was because they were supposed to walk home together.

I was about walking out of the office when I sighted a strange bird at my window. It was Tyler's bird, and I knew he was around.

"What the hell! What is he doing here?" I thought, and then the bird looked at Allison making me look at her too. Her back was turned against my office.

In anger, I dashed to the window and stood in front of the bird.

"You won't dare touch her Tyler. If you do, I will rip off your head myself." I said in anger and the bird flew away.

"Mr Nicklaus? Who were you talking to?" Allison asked walking into the office.

"No one. Are you not going home?" I asked carrying my bag.

"I am. We can walk together right." She said and I nodded. I knew it would be a great idea to watch over her on a way home, not now Tyler has his eyes on her already.

"We should walk together." I said and she smiled nodding. And we walked out of the office, out of the company.

"So Marcus left you here?" I asked as we hit the road.

"Yes. He was kinda pissed about the date. He thought I was going to be with him, but I actually disappointed him." She said and I sighed bowing my head.

"You should have followed him." I said and she shook her head.

"You don't have to worry Mr Nicklaus, Marcus is my friend. I will talk to him." She said and I nodded.

"Well I feel he doesn't see you as just a friend Allison." I said and she laughed.

"Of course he does. If he had other things he would have talked to me about it. Don't be forced to think that because we are close, and he is very protective of me. He is just watching out for me." She said and I smiled.

"That's good, but he should actually watch himself too because he also needs protection. If he keeps acting that way, he would put himself in trouble." I said and she nodded.

"I will talk to him, you don't need to worry." She said and I nodded.

"So where do you live?" She asked looking at me.

"Far from here. You don't know where." I said.

"I thought as much, but I really want to know where you live, so you can cook for me." She said and I smiled.

"I could always cook for you and bring it to the company. No need stressing yourself to my house." I said and she shook her head.

"I would love to watch you do it." She said, and I sighed knowing she was one stubborn but cute lady. She wouldn't stop till she gets what she wants.

But coming on my house isn't an option. Not when I have a lot of blood bags in my fridge.

"When it's time you would know my house okay?" I asked and she nodded. We kept walking, and then my ears caught some sounds in the woods close to where he walked.

It was a dashed sound like that of a vamp. I had no one in mind except Tyler.

"I should ease myself here. I will be back." I said to her and she smiled.

"You can just hold on till I get to my house." She said and I shook my head.

"I don't think I can hold it much longer. I will be back soon. Don't move." I said and she nodded.

I walked away and when I got far into the woods I dashed to where Tyler was and hooked him against the tree.

"Why are you following us?" I asked angrily.

"Why are you so worried about that? Is it because of your worker Allison?" He asked grinning, and I punched him on the face.

"You would stay away from Allison." I said angrily releasing him.

"Vampires are not human. Our weakest point is love. You can't fall in love with your food Klaus. Don't deceive yourself." He said.

"What I do or who I like is none of your business." I said angrily.

"Of course it is. You are my friend, and I am here to led you to the right path. I can't be your babysitter anymore."

"You made the mistake of falling in love with a human, and you ended up feeding on her. I won't let you make that mistake anymore." He said.

"I have my hunger under control." I said looking away.

"Is that true? Cos our last meeting in these woods told me otherwise. You are endangering her by staying next to her while thinking you are protecting her."

"You should be protecting her from you because you are the monster that could pounce on her one day and rip her head apart." He said and I looked at me.

"What exactly are you trying to say?" I asked folding my hand.

"Come with me. Together we can have our home once again. And that would start from killing any feelings that you have for that lady." He said and I shook my head.

"That's never going to happen, so back off." I said walking away.

"Do you think she would still like you after knowing the monster you are? I doubt it." He said behind me and I dashed back to the road where Allison was standing.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting" I said, and she shook her head smiling.

"It's fine." She said smiling, and I looked away as we walked. All Tyler said couldn't stop coming true in my head as I walked.
