The Black Flames of Destruction

Izuku Midoriya. A quirkless child who wants to be a hero. Even though people had their doubts about him, he never gave up. His childhood friend turned bully would torment him every time they met, with insults to physical pain. He was treated like trash, yet his passion to be a hero never wavered. The three most important person in his life has their faith in him, and that alone made the fire in his heart to be a hero even stronger. He wants to prove to everyone that a person in the lowest hierarchy in society can be great. A quirkless person can be a hero if they try hard enough and never give up. He wants to be the first quirkless hero. Or so he thought that he was quirkless and had no 'special power' whatsoever. He is in fact, the reincarnation of a being so powerful that his power can destroy the universe itself. What is this being you say? Akuma, The God of Destruction. But with that, comes great suffering. Ch. 2: Awakening of The Raging God

Izuku POV

"Huh?"

I woke up in the same red void that I've been seeing in my dreams. There were no crows, no strange ominous voice, nada. It was dead as night. I stood there, silent, waiting for something to show up to me, but nothing came. Then, I realized that this dream was different than the other times.

I can freely move my body.

I began to run in random directions, frantically searching for clues, anything. I searched everywhere seemingly for hours upon hours until I saw a vague figure in the far distance.

"Hello?"

I shouted but I got no response, so I ran as fast as I could toward the figure. As I was approaching, I realized that the figure was a human-a woman to be exact. She wore a beautiful white wedding gown with gold floral outlines and a white tiara. Her hair was chocolate brown, cut in a familiar bobbed shape with two of her locks particularly longer than the others.

Wait...

No...

It can't be her...

"Ochako?"

*SNAP*

She snapped her head in my direction and smiled wickedly at me. My face immediately went pale, and shivers went down my spine at the horrifying sight of her face. Time seemed to stop at that moment. Her pupils were crimson red, filled with bloodlust. Her sclera was pitch black, with blood flowing continuously out of her eyes. Hundreds of cuts and bruises covered her once beautiful face. Some sort of curse mark that spells the word 'Destroy' was imprinted on her forehead.

" D̵͍̯̓̏͐̏̓͂͋ͅe̸̘̳̝̞͂́͆̒̿͑́k̴͎̣̠͈̱̒̋͒͒́̓u̴̟̙̻͔͆.̸̡͙̟̠̥̰͈́̑̕̚.̴̤̍.̸̢̨̭͖̫͙͕̝͍̔̒͝ " She spoke in a language that I didn't understand. Her voice was so eerie and demonic, it sends shivers down my spine just by listening to it.

*BA-DUMP*

"Wh-what...?" I uttered weakly.

*BA-DUMP*

" R̵̛͙̔̓́̔̓̉̅a̸̯̞̞̫̱̭̣͐̃̎̉͑͠ͅͅg̵̬͑́͗e̵̫͕̓,̷͖̞̰̝̼̠͎͚̯̤̕ ̸̳̝͛͑́̓͝͝ć̶̩̪̍́̐̕ḣ̷͕͙̥̼̟͉͚̲͜o̶̲̦̮̟̳̰̹̜͖̓̃̂͝ͅs̵̱̄͆͠ȅ̶̠̻̱̮͚͊͋n̴̞͊͂͐̕ ̵͓̪͖̮̘͈̼̤͈̺̉͊́͑̔̌̾̀̉͝ǫ̷̹̜̫́̾͗̄ṇ̸̨̣̪͐͂̕ͅe̸̙̬͔̟̙͖̞̳̫̬͒̍̃͠.̸͕̖͙̭̳̱̉ "

*BA-DUMP*

'Wh-what is she t-talking about...? What th-the f-fuck is this nightmare?!?!' I thought as I clasped my head and began to hyperventilate. I couldn't move...I was paralyzed by fear. She slowly approached me with that wicked smile of hers, like a lion stalking its prey.

*BA-DUMP*

'Stop this please...' I thought while breathing heavily.

*BA-DUMP*

" Ą̷̧̣̪̜͍͖̺̜͐͂́͌͗́͌͘k̶̭͆̑̽͑͐̐ú̴̢̢̬̩̭̘̘̱́͠m̴̨̘͓̬̯͓̎̌̓̈́̚͝ả̷̮̪̬͚͖̓̃͂̍͆̈́̚.̵̛̺̻̟̟̹̤̮̲̻̽̀̑̓̿̄̐.̸̠̟̬̮̭͔̙̦̖̰̇̃̋͑̆͐.̴̢̣̖͖̟̻͈̽́͛͑̋͜͠ " She again spoke.

*BA-DUMP*

'P-please...Stop this...'

*BA-DUMP*

"AAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!"

I clasped my eyes shut and screamed as hard as I could, praying for the horrifying nightmare to stop. But it didn't. She was still there, smiling wickedly at me while keeping her slow approach. I tried to move, but my knees buckled out of fear. I eventually gave in and fell on my butt, hyperventilating while trying as hard as I could to back away from her.

Suddenly she stopped dead in her tracks, staring blankly ahead towards the red void behind me. I calmed down a little, trying to regain my once-existent courage. But all that courage that I regained went out the window again as I grew horrified at the sight of her body twitching violently.

With a sickening crack, her body twisted unnaturally, breaking almost every bone, tendon, and joint. Her neck....snapped in two different directions. Her arms were dark purple, with bones sticking out of them. Her head was twisted sideways....snapping the atlas bone in the process.

She then looked at me with those crimson eyes.....But there was no bloodlust in them. She was looking at me pleading....begging for this to stop. I couldn't do anything but watch in horror as her body breaks itself.

I put my hand on my chest and gripped as hard as I could, trying to ease the pain in it. Tears were streaming down my face like a flowing river.

She was in a lot of pain...Screaming for me to help her.....yet I didn't do anything...I was too terrified to move.

'I'm pathetic...'

*BA-DUMP*

'So pathetic...'

*BA-DUMP*

'I'm sorry...'

*Spurt*

Her already broken body exploded into a rain of rotten blood. I bathed in it with no emotion plastered on my face. Weird isn't it? I had just witnessed the death of the love of my life, but I didn't feel anything. I was just.....numb, too shocked to actually register any emotion in my head. My once lively green eyes have lost their shine and are now dull and lifeless.

But then like some sort of magic, the blood recombined itself, Creating a bloody whirlwind. It got smaller and denser and began to take the shape of a giant head.

The head grew four giant horns, with the tip of each four curved outwards. The word 'Destroy' appeared again while glowing dark purple. The blood-red color of the head then began to change to black as a reaction to the purple glow. But the really weird thing that I couldn't fully understand was that...

It was faceless.

It then spoke,

" I̸͚̞̒̈́͌͑̔́̀̃̉,̸͖̬̞͆ ̸̝̮̣̫͒̊͆͝͝͝w̴̢̨̬̤͉͍̝̜̤̾̀͛̈̉͗̂̂h̸̼̀̈́ö̸̳́ ̴̛̰̤̝̼̯̺̰̀͆̓̋̃͐͋̚̕a̸̩̟͐̒̈́͒͋̎͆̋̕͠m̵̹͈͖͇͖̞͙̹͊̒͑̀́͘͝ͅͅ ̸̣͔̊̎̄̔͗͘à̵̳͚̯̆̇̽̓̍̕̕ͅb̵̡̨̻̗͓̙̏o̶̼̮̝̳̖̾̎̒ͅṵ̶̡͓̲͚͛̀ṱ̸̺̝̲̯͈̬̉ ̴̹̠̖͖̙͎̒̈́̎̚͠t̷̨̢̢̯̣̘̙̮̰̂̑̅͊̌̀͑͑̂ó̸͖͈͔̅ ̶̛̫̯̣̝͎̩̊̋ͅͅą̴̡͕̺̦̝̻͖͑̕͜͝w̸̡̛̬̮̪͑̊̓̌̈́͋̓́͝a̴̟͍̰̤̪͑́̃̆͘͠k̷̪̗̇̂͗̀e̷̖̬̗̕n̷̫̣̫̿́̈͝,̷̡̰̦̾͋͝͠ ̵̡̯̪̼̞̳̗̇͑ȁ̴̲͉̩̫̟͙͋̑̍͆͝m̴͚̠͐͑̓̊̕ ̴̢̢̛̟̯̑̆̇̉̕ť̷̡̝̱͔̝̻̉͋̇̈̕͘͜͝͝ḩ̵̣̯̯̑̀̔͝ȩ̴̖̩͖̝̬͉̲̖͉͗̿̓̊̊̽͝͝ ̷̛̼̻̫͙͊̓̓̂̒͐̈́́ě̷̯̹͖͔͕͚͘m̶̢̢̛͍̻̬̀̃̈̾̈́b̶̧̞̳͙̱̎̐͛͠o̸̞̺̦͈̪̭̍̏̊̔͋d̷̲̮̬̺̟̲̞͉̗̒͂̆̏͗̾͐̃͠i̷̖̺͚͠m̷̧̻̖̱̦͕̱̘̂̓e̵̲̱̥̲̍́͌͌ͅͅͅn̶̪͚̪͝t̵̨̢̧̛̲͍̺̯͎͊̊̂͌̊ͅͅ ̴̨̬͚͎́o̶̘̥̱͑̅̾̏̅͂͒͊̑͘f̵̱̞̺̞̌ ̴̱͙̩̮̀̃̍͊d̵̟̗̆̔͆ë̴̝̗́̽s̷̪̗̲̟̮̱̟͉̪̔t̴̠̫̞͉͌͛͆̇́͐̀̄̽r̴̜͙͔̣͉̳̦͝u̷̟͖̼̯̺̝͓̙̖̾̌̈́c̴̗̦͇̪̖̖͇̩̃̈ͅt̸̠̳̉̂͌i̸̡̨̢͉̤͍̖̤͗̈́o̵̡̙̐̄̈̎̋̐͗̕n̵͚̞̣̬̟̼̈́͘̕.̸̨̜̞̻̠͓̒́͛̀ ̸̡̨̤͔̼͓͈̲̟̗̿͗͛̓I̷̧̛͚̦̞̝͇͌̆̿́ ̶̧͍͈̻̯̬̽͌̎r̸̟̙͍̝͔͔̐̉̂̾̆̔͐u̴̧̡̪͈̯̠̭͉̜͝l̴̟̈́͝ȇ̶̢͍̘͍̯͉̘̠̎̒̔̌̈́̕ ̸̹̯̺̖̠̻̽͊̍̊̃͌̆̒̚̚ơ̴͔̓̇̂̄̋̊̈͛̋v̵̢̻̣̘̰̩͈̑̔̔̽̕e̷͚͎̹̫͆̃̃́͐̋̓̃̆̀ŗ̷͉̦̻̳͔̣͂̀ ̶̧̹̦͈͊h̵̖̩̻͈̖̒͜ẻ̶̡̨͕̣̯̟̙̇́̒̏̌̀̀a̸̧̳̙̣͍͇͕̺̽́̈́̇̊̎̋̂̕v̵̦̘͇̹͗͌̉̕͜ȩ̶͖̻̞̙̪̽̍́͗̿̒͌̚͝͝ņ̸̟͉͚̘͋͑̀͂̿̾́́,̴̝̤͍̲̅ ̵͓̝̈́͋ạ̵̡̈́̉n̸̡̜̻̫̬̺͍͙̙͙͂͗̎̋͛̃́d̵̨̹͉͖͉̹̯̣̿͑́̌̆ ̶̬̝̄́̊̃̎͘͜d̶̗͉̺͖͓͒̈̒̍ơ̵̰̒̑̑̉͛͛͝ṁ̷̟̲͇̣̤̫͙̠̬͆͜͝ȋ̵̙̳̬͓̳͔̙̤̌̽͋n̸̢͍̝͎͆͆̚ä̴͖̩͉̰̮͕̐̿̀̆́̿̊͐͌t̶̛̙̪̘̣̖͙̎͑̕e̴̐́̈̎͂́́̾̀͜͝ ̸̞̩̬̙̦̤̘̐͝h̵̤̭̭̤̖̲̜̆̅e̴̡̧̳͖͎͇̣̝͉̊̒̋̇́͘l̸̛̛̬͖̗͖̟̻̂̑͒́̽͝l̷̛̰̘̦͂̒̔̈̓̈́̽͘̕.̸̧͓̮͙͖͍̫̟̩̈́̇͗͋̏́͝ ̶̥͚̞̦͎͛͋̈́͊̎̇̈́͜I̷̢̹͉͇̮͉̟͋̈̈́̎͋̇̽͆̆͘͜ ̷͎̘̠̦̗͈͗̏̍̒̒̓̄̈́͛a̸̡̗̲͈̥̎͛̈́̏̈́̊͘͠m̸̻̮̼͇͖̙̫̊̊̓ͅ ̶͕͑̒̔̒t̶̨̛̼̞͎̯͇͕̂́̓̀́͌͝͝h̸̢̨̧̨̺̹̞̳͉̗̒͠e̵̛̬̞̤̲̜͗̒̂̌̓͂͘͘̚ ̷̧̡̟̟̇̂̾̔̚͝ş̷̩̖̭̈́̈́͌̈́ȩ̸͖̝̰̠͕̼͔̓̀̌̅̎͂̿̚̕ṛ̸͕͔̠̬͗͐̇̍̄͝v̵͙͚̰̻͉͛̈̏̾̐̕a̶̡̜̣͓̼͍̟͖͖̿́̂̍͛͜n̵̖̣̮̫̟̺͓̺̘̺̾̀̄̚͘t̶̹̝͚̙̥̦̗̞̍̓̈́̊̽͌͋̕͝ ̷̢͕͍͈̞̼̪̤̌̃̍͊̔̏̕͝ͅo̴̩̞̝̯̳̭̟̩͋͋̉͒̿̿̇͜f̸̠̈́̈́̐̌̂̅̊̇͗͗ ̷̬̬͖̌̈́̈͛̕e̵̦̥̅̈́̈̂̚t̷͎̟̲͚͖͇̠̼̔̿̾̎̋͑͜e̸̲̠̻̠͙̬̫͊̒̆̑̒̅ͅr̷̨̢̰̥̼͍͈͙̍̈̀̑͗̿͒̈͝͠ǹ̷͙̩͈̹͔̳͖͈͂̔̾a̴̡͇̗͋̀͐̽͗͠l̷̨̟͕͐̓̐͋ ̵̼͈͐̓́͝j̸̩͕̤̻̱̳̬͊ͅu̶̩̮̙͉̽s̷̨̡͈͕̝̖͉͚̈́͂̇̓̔͘ͅt̷͙͋̈̄̆ĭ̷̘̻̪̫͉̤̍̈͋͆̉̈́͂̏́c̷̗̪̥̻͓̜͍̑̏e̵̡̜͇̗̫͕͂.̸͉̥̣̩͐̄̅̈́̕͝ ̸̠͍̬̦̱̂͜B̶̤̼͎͕̓͋͘͜͝͠͝ͅͅȑ̸̡̞͈̺̗̗̄̍̚͜͠i̶̯̓̊̈̄͋̄͛̓͐̚ṅ̵̰̩̠̀̉̔̊̀̚g̴͇̟̋̈́͜ ̶̢̛̤̤̮̆̅͑̎̾̔͗̈́̀͜f̵̨̰̮̣͕̟̦̓̉͐̎̈́o̷̫͌̀̀́͠͠ȑ̵̨̘̪̙̖̮͕͎̣̭̐̇̌̌͠͝t̶͔̗̍h̶̻̓̾̾̃̑̌́̈́͠ ̸̡̝͈͕̺̩̺̐͐͐͛̏͆̕é̸̼v̴̧̬̯̠͕̝͕͈̭̔̃̀̽̇̄̏̋̌̊į̶̪̩̖͚̲̚l̸̯̲̰̋̈́,̷͉̲̹̥̪̩̣̘̪̪̈́͑̇̆͒̇̂̈́͗ ̴̡͖̹̹͍̼̦̫̟̈́a̵̧̬̰̪̦͋̏̈̽̓͛͌̃̕͝ņ̷̦͖̙͗͐͌͋͒̇́͋̃̉d̶̢̛̯͙̝̼͍̲̝̣̈́͋̈̇̀ ̸̖̞̯̱̗͕̝̜̳͇͂͆̍͗̿́̎̓̂̓I̸̗͉͈̪͂̋ ̴̦̫̞͖͎͓̂̓͜s̶̹̪͓̑̌̒́͂̕͠ĥ̷̨̡͕̟͙̬̮̰̠̍̓͋ͅą̵̱͔̾̿͜͠ļ̵̯͍̬̰̪̝̻̀͆͋̒̚͜͝l̶̢͖͇̠̬͍̩̠̯͆̎ ̷̡͙̘̖̤̝̩̋̀͘̕͘͝ḃ̴̟̳͔̦̯̱̏̌̈́̏u̷̝̼̤̹̪̬͚̣͙̱͗r̴̘̤͓̪͚̹͙̓̇̌͐̓͐̅ņ̶̦̙͉͚̤͎̣͓͕͐́̅̋̌ ̸̢͔͎͚̏̌͌͘ṱ̴̞̞̲͂͆͒͋̈́̒̐͌̈h̶̩͍̺̬̭̾͝͠ē̸͕̲̈́̂̏͠m̶̩͉̥̦̐̀̌͝ ̴̭̝̤͈͙̳̪̹̀̒̽̏̌̒͐i̵̼̿͆͝ǹ̶̯̱̹̋̂͋̎̋̐̊̕̚ͅ ̴̨̢̻̦̹̙̫̤̩̗̾̓́̀̚͝ţ̷̧̢̹̦͉̭̙͂h̶̭̪͚͂e̸̢̩̠̲͈̠̺͉̫͌̈́̒̿͂̎̊̑̿͠ ̶̠̜̘̬̄̉̍d̶̨̘̻̔̋̄̇͂̆͗̎̚ͅę̶̧͎͚̞̰̄p̴̧̠̭̤͚͇̤̬͂̐̐̐̈̑̇t̶̢̪̬̹̝̳͑̇̓̓̿͝h̶̯̠͔̖̥͉̪͒͛ş̸̹̥̣̪̤̥͇̰͗̓͋̾̓͋̍̎͝͠ ̷̘͙̞̐͒̂̓̈͗̓ơ̸̛̯͖̓̓̓̿̕f̷̢̰͇̝̥̩̻͚͙͔̓̔ ̵̡͔͙̦̘͖͙̼̕͝ẻ̶̺̙̤̜͖̯̦͈͊̐͐̔̎̿̄͑̅t̴̡̼̳͓͚̝̞̯̋͐̓͊͊̇͝ě̴̟̱̔̑r̸̬͙̫̘̅͜n̸̞̈́a̷̬͎̯͗̓̀̀͂̉̍͗́̚ĺ̴̢͚̗̼͇̞̮͛̒̈́̑̔ ̷̧̢̦͕̥͈̦͐͜͜ͅp̶̫̥̪͑͛̿̈́̚͜ù̵̧͚̜̒r̵̮̻͖̟̄̈́g̷̛͙̪̰̣̋̋̾̃a̴̧̧̢̗̰͔̲̳͔̭̽̔̎t̴̨̡̬̝͕̰̳͋̋̃o̷͍̘̠̪̖̞̺͌͜r̴͕̻͎̈́͐̀́͒͝͝ỹ̷͈̙̪͑͊̊͒͘͜͝.̵̭͍̼̋̐͆̓̈́͜ͅ ̸̼̹͎͈̭̮̰͎̱̮̈́̌͐̾̈́I̵̲̣̻̥͍̫͛͂͝͝ ̷̡͍̱̦̯̳̱̫͚̮̌͑̓̐̈́̏̿̕͘̕ả̵̠͎̤̲̜̠͈̓̒͂̍̓m̷̰̈̈́̄̕͜͝ ̶̘̯͈̓̀̅̊̾̾T̶̺̝̲̙̜̦̫̋͊̾̔̐͊͝h̵̨̦̳͙̺͌e̶̘͎̱͛̄̍͝ ̷͕̹̠̥̱̣̏̿̈́̿̚͝B̷̩͌̇͗̄̐̂̑̈́͠ļ̸̖͉̠͔͖́͒̃̂͑͐̓̏ā̴͕̳̘͚̦̾͆c̵̛̬̲͍̤̮̲̎̓̀́̍̑͆̃͜ͅk̸̡̥̤͚̩͕̺̞̮̑̎̒̽̂͆̕͜͠ ̶̧͓̪̝̝͊͗̔͗̈́͆̄̽͝͝F̷̩͇͎̤̮͉͕̣͌͐l̵͔̮̼̘̙̘̓̀̋͑̍̊̕͘͝ä̴̤͕̳̰͍͆̌̊m̸̪̘̤̖͕̎̐́̏̉̐̄̈́͘͜͝e̵͎͠ ̸̜͉̰́̇̽͘D̶̡̻̬́̽̄̐̌͝͝ē̴̢̬͙̹̝͈͇͍͑̑́̈́̀̉͝m̵̧̖̼͎̣͇̃̄͂́̇͜o̷͓̓̑͠n̶͝ͅ.̶̟̖͚̝̀͐̀ ̶̺̆̿͑́͗̾̿̽̂͘Ï̵̛̬̙͇̾̈́̽̀̐̈́͐ ̶̪̦̹͕̭̖̟̤͇͗̎̄͌͘͝ä̶̻̞̟̤̮̜̲́͐̄͊̾͂͒m̴̨̻̯͙̝̟̂͋̒́̀̌̈́͘͠ ̴̢̖͎̑̕Ṱ̵̡̀̏ͅḩ̵̢̱͚̻̭̗̈́̓͑ȇ̸͙͎͋̽͝ ̵̢̬̭̞̺̰͈̝̄̄̅̽̂͠R̶͖̖̳̰̲̖̆̈́͊̌͗̔̏̇̊͝a̴̛͙͎̤̭͍͉͎̜͜ͅg̴̡̳̳̹͚̥̬̏̐͑͂̄̊i̴̹̳͊̀̓̍͘̚͝͝n̶̞͍̖̽̎͛̂̇͗̾̈́͌̇g̵͚̬͉̠̭̝̦͚͕͓̈́̂͑̏̉̋̓̽͛͘ ̴͓̬̳͊̂͂̾͑̚͝Ģ̵̠̦͉̟̦͕̠̠̦̾̆̔̅̿̌̒̇͠ó̷̳̫̤̟̤̠̭̌́͊̇̏d̶̡̛̹͖̝̅̐̄͊̇̽̊͜.̶̡̭̫͝ ̶̤̲͖̠̦̦̃̆̓̀͜͠͝Ị̵̢̤̻̟̖̼̻̺̖͛̍͌͑̿̕ ̸̗͖̣͈͕͎̙̀̐̎̀̇̊͝͝a̵̢̳̩͕̲̫̫͗̔͂̅̏m̸̧̟̲͈̺̞̀̽̏̈́̂̓̑͆̑͜ ̴̘̫̘̘̞̺̼͌́̑̀͆͒͘ͅͅṮ̶̜͔̟͉̺̝̤̠͇͆h̶̟͖̜̪̱̗̬̗͎̉͒ẹ̵̛̒̃̇̈́͑͘ ̷̳͚͍̥̘̮̝͊͐͑̀̉̄̇̉G̷̛̣̭̝͙̠̻̩̲̓̽͌͌͌̈́͒̊͘o̵̘̯̥̳̳͗̀͜d̷͓̃́̎̃̔̽ ̶̢̼̝̦̟̹͎͌̌̌͋̑͛́̚͜ơ̵͙̥̺̹̖̳̼͝ͅf̶̡̛̿̒̅ ̷̡̲̱̤̲̖͖͇̜͒̋͑̍͂ͅḐ̶̨͕͙̙̝̩͋̐̑̒e̸̮̯̫͖̤͙̤̬̐͌̑͆̂ŝ̷̫̓̋̉̍́̚t̴̨̹̳͈͖̒͂͒̄̀͑̕͠r̶͕̪̿̇̕̕ų̸̥͎̱͙̺͈̤͚̥̌̈́̀̓̈͋͗̈́͋̕c̸͍͚͍͕̾̾̌t̴̢̰̲͈̳̞͚͓̗͕͛̀͒̀̊̎͋͑͝ḯ̸͚͇͉̪͖̇̔̎́̿̎͑o̶̫̜̍n̴̨̥̳͐͑͌͆͆̊̔͛̋̕,̴̧̫̟̣͈̭͗̚ͅ ̴͔̦̝͔̼̼̿̉̐͆͜ͅA̴̩̹̰̅́̐̓̓̔k̸͔͍̆̐̎̒̈́ụ̶̋̄̀̿͑̈́̉̈͠m̵̨̭͉̼͉̠͍̩͆̇̃̕͝ȧ̸̜̇͋͋̑̎̾͘.̶̺̻̭͕͔̲̥̒̔̂́́͘͝͝ "

A blinding light illuminated the void, and all I felt was pain.

"AAAARRRGGGHHHH" I shot up from my bed and shouted as hard as I could. Tears were freely flowing down my face. I was hyperventilating like an asthma kid running on a marathon.

I gripped my chest, as it felt like my heart was about to explode. I looked around and realized that I was back in my room. I sighed in relief, calming myself down a little. Wanting to clear my head, I put on my slippers and went to the bathroom.

I put both of my hands in the rim of the sink and stared deeply at my reflection. My emerald eyes were shaking in fear, and little bags were hanging below my eyes. I sighed and washed my face.

'Shit went bad real quick....' I thought as I wiped a towel on my face. 'How did the villain get me? Does he know who All Might truly is, and targeted me for a reason? Or was it just....mere coincidence?' I pondered, getting out of the bathroom and subconsciously walked to the kitchen.

As I was walking, my mom came rushing to me with worry in her eyes. She must have heard my scream and went looking for me as fast as she could. But with our house being quite large and our rooms on separate wings, it took some time.

"Izuku! Are you okay honey?" She spoke while caressing my cheek with her hands, tiptoeing while doing so since I'm way taller than her. I sighed and chuckled slightly. I pressed my hands on hers, wanting to feel her warm loving hands.

"I'm fine now mom, no need to worry. It was that same dream again. I was gonna make breakfast, do you want some?" I said with a sincere smile on my face. She sighed in relief and nodded. We then went to the kitchen while it was still dawn outside, and cooked some eggs benedict.

Something in the back of my head told me that this will not be the last time I see these dreams...

3rd Person POV

In Aldera Junior High, class 3-A was having a math lesson. Most of the students were all on the verge of slumber, while the teacher was too oblivious to notice. Suddenly an announcement bell rang, immediately gaining everyone's attention off the chalkboard. The teacher stopped his lecture and slammed his hands on the desk, startling the students.

"Since you're all third years, it's time for you to think seriously about your future..." The teacher said over to the group of students. They all groaned in annoyance except for Ochako who kept her head down while doing her math assignment, a spiky ash blond who was leaning against his chair while putting his legs on the desk, and Izuku who was too busy scribbling down hero notes.

"I'll pass out handouts for your plans now but..." The teacher said as he grabbed the papers harshly. All of the students except the three became excited and began to show their quirks.

"You're all going to be heroes anyway!!!" He screamed, throwing the papers in the air. The students cheered while showing off their quirks.

One of the students can transform his body into a rock, a guy can stretch out his eyes, a guy can extend his neck, and many more began to show what their quirks can do.

"Yes yes, you all have wonderful quirks! But using your quirks in school is against the rules, so quiet down class..." The teacher said, silencing the class once again. As he went again with his lecture, a rough bratty voice interrupted him.

"Oi teach!"

Everyone turned their attention from the chalkboard to the one who spoke. It was the ash blonde, who was leaning back against the chair, smirking confidently like he was the ruler of the class.

"Don't lump us in the same group. It's clearly obvious that I'm WAY superior to these extras!" He spoke in a mocking tone. The class grunted in annoyance, clearly agitated by his attitude.

"I ain't gonna be stuck at the bottom with these shitty rejects!" He continued, finally opening his eyes, showing his bloodshot pupils. The class began to erupt again, saying that it was uncalled for. He laughed mockingly at them, finding their reaction amusing.

"Fine! I'll take ya' all on bitches!" He screamed. Before the class got any more chaotic, the teacher decided to step in.

"Oh yeah, if I remember correctly, you want to go to UA High right, Bakugou?" The teacher asked. The whole class became silent, dumbfounded by what they just heard. They began to murmur to themselves regarding the news.

"UA High? That national school?!" One student murmured.

"It was in the top 0.2% this year, you know!" Another replied. While the brunette and greenette were staring intently at the ash blonde. Bakugou just chuckled as a response.

"That's why y'all are just extras!" He then spoke. He vaulted himself onto the table.

"I aced ALL the mock tests!" He said, smirking while pointing his thumb to himself.

"I'm the only one who could get into UA from this shitty school!" He continued, showing off small explosions in his palms.

"I'll definitely surpass All Might, and become the number one hero! My name'll be inscribed on the list of top earners!" He shouted as the Image of All Might suddenly appeared. The greenette was seen tilting his head, a question mark appeared on top of his head. He stared at the image of his father in confusion.

'Um...What the hell? Am I high or something?' Izuku pondered, raising an eyebrow. He decided to ignore the gremlin's ramble about how he was the best human alive and quietly played 'Heroes Rumble!!' on his phone.

'Okay...let's see who we play against.....BestGamerUNoob69? He's either a toxic little bitch or a troll...Okay, who to choose? Hmm...maybe Endeavor, Miruko, and Pixie-Bob because Dad-Might's WAY too OP...' He thought to himself while sticking a little of his tongue out, concentrating.

While that was happening, Bakugou was still rambling on top of his desk about how everyone in this class was too weak to even make it to the police force. Ochako was getting very agitated and decided to join his boyfriend's action, which was ignoring the explodo-doggo, and play 'Heroes Rumble!!'.

'Oooo!...Gotta love Endeavor's Hell Spider! Don't really like the guy though...' Izuku thought, too concentrated on the game. The teacher checked the other student's applications and raised an eyebrow.

"Oh yeah, Midoriya and Uraraka wanted to go to UA too, right?" The teacher asked. The whole class became silent. Bakugou even froze while rambling. If a pin dropped at that moment, the whole class could've heard it. Izuku and Ochako stopped what they were doing, and looked at the teacher. They both nodded as a response.

3...

2..

1.

Cue the laughter.

The whole class erupted in laughter. Some students fell off their chairs, some people wheezed and pointed to both the greenette and brunette, and some even cried.

"MIDORIYA AND URARAKA?!" One student said between laughs.

"One is quirkless and the other one can only float things!!" Another student said hysterically. Ochako furrowed her eyebrows and growled quietly, feeling her pride insulted. Even though she could take half of the class by herself, Izuku always told her not to do it. She understood why Izuku said that and trusted his judgment.

Izuku was unbothered by this. He went through this for 10 years straight with Ochako by his side. He learned the cold, harsh truth of the world. The world they live in is unfair, and they have to adapt to its unfairness whether they like it or not. But that doesn't mean he's gonna give up. It instead made the fire to be a hero inside him even brighter.

Izuku just rested his head on his hand and leaned against the table, showing no interest in listening.

While the other classmates were laughing, Bakugou was furious. He was supposed to be the only one to apply, and the two supposedly weakest students applied there too. He was the best, and applying to UA with them, is an insult in his eyes.

"DEKU YOU DAMN BASTARD!!!"

Bakugou angrily stomped over to Izuku's desk, while Izuku looked at him with an expression that says 'Seriously? This again?'. The ash-blonde threw his right arm down at Izuku's desk, with the intent of blowing it up. Izuku drove his left arm up quickly and redirected Bakugou's hand upwards. Bakugou gasped and accidentally ignited the sweat in his palms, charring the ceiling.

The whole class went silent at what just happened right before their very eyes if they could even see what happened in the first place. In a second, Bakugou's hand was already in the air, igniting a small explosion that made the ceiling above him charcoal black.

As Bakugou looked at the greenette's eyes in front of him, his instincts went into overdrive. His body was frozen, yet it screamed at him to run away as fast as he could.

Izuku's eyes were angry. Very angry.

After three seconds full of shock and silence, Bakugou regained a quarter of his composure and sneered at Izuku, before turning away from him back to his seat.

'Damn nerd. What's with that face? It's giving me the creeps.'

School hours had just finished, and the students were ready to go home. Izuku was looking through his phone for the latest hero news until a familiar bubbly voice called.

"Hey Deku!"

Izuku smiled and braced himself for a bone-crushing hug from behind. Ochako blasted like a rocket towards Izuku and trapped him inside a bone-crushing hug. Izuku's face turned blue from the lack of air.

"O-cha-...Ochako....A-air...Need...Air!" Izuku spoke weakly. Ochako gasped, quickly releasing Izuku from her bear hug, and apologized at least 50 times to him. Izuku just chuckled and patted her head.

"Sooo....since it's Friday, wanna go to the arcade in that shopping district?" Ochako asked.

"Sure! But can you wait for a little? Mom called. She has something for me back at the house." Izuku replied. Before they could go out of the classroom, the all-familiar rough bratty voice called out the greenette's name.

"OI DEKU!"

Izuku sighed and rubbed his temples, while Ochako growled. He turned around to meet the caller, who was none other than explodo-doggo or 'Lord Explosion Murder' himself, Katsuki Bakugou.

"What?" Izuku spoke, clearly uninterested to have a friendly conversation with him.

"We're not done yet, shit nerd." Bakugou snarled. He glanced at the table and saw Izuku's hero note. He quickly snatches it, making Izuku even more upset.

"What's this Deku? 'Hero Analysis #13'? You're pathetic. You're weak Deku! What makes you think that only using your Brain makes you a hero, huh?! Someone who wants to be a hero needs to have a strong quirk like mine! And I'll be on top anyway!" Shouted the ash blonde. He then set off a decently small-sized explosion, burning the hero note to a crisp. He then threw it into the koi pond below.

Izuku sighed and looked down, his hair covering his eyes. It was just like every other day, another harassment, another beatdown, another torture. Sometimes it was him and Ochako being beaten up by Bakugou and his lackeys, sometimes they get mocked by the whole class, sometimes both of it at the same time, and many, MANY more. Every day, it seemed like hell to them. They only have themselves and their families to support them.

While Izuku was all gloomy, Ochako was super pissed.

"Just shut up Bakugou! He'll be a better hero than you'll ever be!" Ochako shouted. Izuku was taken aback by her statement, and Bakugou grew even more furious.

"The hell did you just say round face?!!" Bakugou asked threateningly, little explosions emitted from his palms. Ochako didn't seem to be fazed, however, and kept her stern expression and stood her ground.

"I said, He'll be a better hero than you'll ever be Bakugou!!" She repeated. Her eyes glaring into his soul.

"We used to be friends!! Just because he's quirkless, you decided to make his life hell!! The fuck is wrong with you asshole?!!" Ochako continued. Her fists were clenching hard, ready to throw a hard punch at any time.

"He needs to learn that he can't be a hero! Not without a quirk! He needs someone to get it through that thick skull of his that he's useless! The sooner he realizes it, the better world it would be!" Bakugou shouted.

As Bakugou turned around, his vicious bloodshot eyes losing contact with the two as Ochako was shaking in anger, clearly ready for a fight and Izuku was looking down at the floor, shadows covered his eyes, upsetness clearly plastered on his face. The ash-blonde spoke out.

"Hey Deku, your real dad was a pro hero right? He made the right choice. He predicted that you'll be a failure, and he bailed on you right before birth! He killed himself because he CLEARLY didn't want his pride to be shattered by the quirkless shit that you are right now!" Bakugou spoke with malice in his voice while turning halfway of his face around, grinning maniacally at them.

Ochako was absolutely livid, ready to send him to the hospital with not only some minor concussion. No one spoke of Izuku's father like that.

While Izuku...

His hands were trembling and he was hyperventilating like crazy. His pupils were dilated, emotion exploding out of his eyes. He was gritting his teeth. His fists were clenched so hard, blood oozed out of them, dripping onto the cold floor.

Bakugou continued to walk to the door before he stopped again.

"Oh yeah and one more thing. If you want a quirk that badly, take a swan dive off the roof! And pray that you'll get a quirk in your next life!!" Bakugou spoke again, fully turning around facing them with that disturbing smile of his.

Ochako had enough and was going to jump on him when she heard a mumble.

"Kill..."

She turned around and saw Izuku with his head down, slowly walking towards Bakugou.

He raised his head. Instantly all the students that were still in class froze, petrified, and felt shivers went down their spine. Bakugou was shaking in fear and sweating profusely, while Ochako was terrified, unable to move a single inch of her body.

Izuku's emerald eyes had a tint of crimson red, and his emotions are that of a killer. His emotion was cold, combined with other emotions that they both couldn't even understand.

"I'll kill you..."

Panicked, Bakugou threw a poorly aimed explosion towards Izuku. He rushed towards the explosion with a speed that a quirkless person couldn't even imagine achieving, and slid under it, avoiding the explosion. He quickly jumped up and threw a hard backhanded fist towards the ash blonde. A sickening crunch was heard from Bakugou's chest and he screamed in pain.

Bakugou was sent flying towards a locker in the hallway, making a dent in it. He slid down onto the cold floor and coughed out blood violently. In seeing what just occurred, the class screamed in terror and quickly rushed out through the other door, not wanting to cross paths with the greenette.

They saw Bakugou in a sitting position leaning against the locker with his head down, coughing up blood violently. Meanwhile, Izuku was standing tall, giving Bakugou a cold terrifying glare. After a few seconds of agony, Bakugou stopped coughing and fell unconscious.

The whole class became horrified. The strongest person in the school was beaten by the quirkless kid with a single punch? Just how strong is Izuku Midoriya? Those questions lingered in their terrified minds.

But then Izuku grimaced and clasped his eyes shut. He rubbed it quite violently a couple of times and opened it back, blinking rapidly to adjust his vision. He looked confused about what was happening. He noticed a dent in the locker in front of him but somehow didn't notice the unconscious ash-blonde sitting right in front of him. He grabbed his backpack and went out of the school, still somehow not noticing the out cold ash blonde.

Ochako tried to catch up after snapping out of her trance.

"Wait up Deku!" She said. Ochako searched through the halls for her green-haired boyfriend but there was no sign of him, he already left. Ochako had seen him angry at times, but she had never seen him like this because she felt that it wasn't just anger,

It was something more terrifying...

It was bloodlust.

She slumped down her shoulders and sighed.

"Well, there goes today's plans..."

Izuku POV'

'What the hell happened?' That was all that popped up in my mind. I remembered only the part where Bakugou told me to jump off the roof, which was fuckin' stupid by the way. Why the hell would I jump off the roof? To show him that I give up on my dream? Hell Nah, I won't give up. Ever. He's stupid for telling me that.

I made my way under a bridge so I could vent some frustrations and pent-up anger by punching the wall lightly, or by kicking and crushing a few empty cans of soda. Suddenly the lid leading to the sewers began to rumble, then a mysterious thing made out of goop came bursting through.

"Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck! I gotta find a skin suit before he catches me!" It spoke with its voice gurgling, its eyes and mouth suddenly appearing out of the sludge.

I stood completely still, not wanting to get the attention of this grotesque sludge thing. I slowly backed away while it wasn't looking but unfortunately, I stepped on one of the crushed cans. In an instant, it turned to me and gave a creepy smile.

"Well well well~, what do we have here? How convenient that a meat shield has arrived for me. Sorry 'bout this kid, it'll hurt for only 45 seconds!"

Suddenly, the sludge lunged at me, catching me off guard, and wrapped his tendrils around me. It tried to enter my body through my mouth, suffocating me as I struggled to cling onto consciousness by a thin thread.

'Dammit! I can't get free! It's only 45 seconds but it feels like I've been strangled by this thing for an hour! My throat burns!!' I thought, struggling to free myself from its slimy tendrils. My eyelids began to feel heavy, and I began to struggle less because of the lack of oxygen.

Right as I began to blackout, the manhole cover burst into the air. A large, muscular man with blonde hair came out of the ground. I couldn't see clearly who it was, but then I saw the V-shaped hair and the shiny grin, I smiled in relief. It was All Might.

'You're getting slow, Dad..'

~OOO~

3rd Person POV

As All Might saw who the villain has as a hostage, his grin instantly turned into a frown. He wasted no time in changing the wind pressure by driving his fist into the sludge, making it explode, and catching the greenette before he hit the floor.

As he laid in the hero's arms, Izuku was desperately gasping for air and used everything in him to try and retain consciousness as the #1 hero speaks to him, and even saying his name as he tries to help the poor boy who was on the receiving end of death.

"I-Izuku! My boy! Are you okay?!" All Might asked his son worryingly. Izuku just laughed and coughed while still gasping for air, finding his father's reaction amusing.

"I would've, ten seconds ago!" He replied. All Might just chuckled while Izuku continued to laugh.

"You need to be more careful my boy..." All Might said, lecturing his green-haired son. Izuku slumped his shoulder and sighed.

"Yeah...Sorry for making you worry, Dad." The greenette said dejectedly. All Might saw his expression and frowned. In his face was anger, burning like a raging flame. He put a hand on top of Izuku's shoulder to comfort him as best as he could.

"Was it young Bakugou again?" He asked. Izuku frowned and nodded. All Might then looked around, finding no one in the area except them, he then spurted blood from his mouth and exploded into a cloud of smoke. After it died down, a frail version of himself with sunken eyes appeared, which is his civilian form, and his name is Toshinori Yagi.

Izuku gained enough strength to stand on his own two feet. He frantically cleaned himself off the sludge that was still sticking to his clothes while muttering Eww, Yucky!, splattering the sludge all over the place. Toshinori looked at him with a deadpan expression, annoyed by his son's childish behavior, and cleaned himself off of the sludge splatter courtesy of the greenette.

Toshinori raised his right arm high, and karate chopped Izuku right on top of his head. Izuku's eyes bulged out of his sockets, and somehow steam came out of his ears, nose, and mouth.

"Stand up for yourself!!" Toshinori scolded Izuku, blood comically spurting out of his mouth.

"And also, you know not to call me dad, not in public at least." He added. Izuku rubbed the bump on his head and nodded.

"R-right, Da- I mean All Might!" Izuku corrected himself. His eyes widened in realization, and he panicked. He quickly sleds his bag over his shoulder and rushed off.

"I gotta go! Mom called at home!" He shouted. Seeing the greenette left the tunnel, Toshinori just laughed a little and looked up at the sky, a nostalgic smile plastered on his face as a single thought lingered in his mind.

'Definitely his mother's son isn't he, Hisashi....'

What he didn't notice, was that the sludge was gone...

~OOO~

Izuku POV

'Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap! Mom's gonna kill me!!' Was the single thought that raced through my mind as I was sprinting back home.

I arrived at the gate, climbed over it because I ain't got enough time to wait for it to open, and sprinted along the walkway. I knocked on the door, only to be met by a wooden spoon to the head from the upstairs balcony. I looked up and saw mom giving me a cold glare. I shivered and slumped my shoulder.

'Sorry Ochako, but you're gonna wait a little while longer....'

-

-

-

I was finally free from the hell that was mom's scolding and changed to casual attire, a black button-up shirt with black shorts, and black 'n white converse. I grabbed my wallet, kissed my mom goodbye, and went out of the house to see Ochako at the arcade.

'I can't believe mom gave me dating advice...Then again, I didn't tell them that Ochako and I had been dating since last Sunday so...' I thought, sighing dejectedly as I walked through the streets of Musutafu. The Sakura trees were blooming, making the atmosphere somewhat relaxing. I put on my headphones and listened to some songs.

But then I heard the next song, I smiled. It was 'Best Part' by Daniel Caesar. I hummed the tune of the song, even singing the lyrics sometimes while walking through the busy street of downtown Musutafu. While I was listening to the song, I imagined Ochako's soft cherry-flavored lips, her sunshine-like smile that made my heart melt every time, her beautiful brown eyes that glowed golden when hit by sunlight, the way she talked and sometimes her accent slipped out that I found so adorable, her perfect body, her kind, and caring attitude...She's the definition of perfect. And I'm very happy that she exists in my life.

While I was walking, I noticed a large bunch of crowds and heroes up ahead at the gate of the shopping center. I quickly approached them, curious about what was going on.

"What's going on?" I asked one of the bystanders. One of them looked at me shocked.

"Didn't you hear?! A slu-"

"STEP BACK EVERYONE! THE VILLAIN HAS A HOSTAGE!" The hero Death Arms shouted, gaining my curiosity even more. I squeezed over to the very front of the crowd to see the situation more effectively, just for my stomach to churn.

It was like a literal warzone, rubbles everywhere, fire spreading all over the place burning everything near it, buildings were torn down to their very structure, it was a horrible sight. I narrowed my eyes to see more clearly through the thick smoke, to be completely taken aback by who the villain was.

It was the same sludge villain that attacked me.

Seeing that the villain had a hostage, the heroes would not be able to get close to it, seeing that it can kill whoever the hostage is in an instant. As it continued, I decided to leave, thinking that it would be best to leave it to the pros and also not wanting to see the outcome first hand.

'I'm sorry, whoever you are...Help is on the way...Just stay strong...' I thought while clasping my eyes shut, not bearing to see the awful scene. But then as I began to turn away from the scene, a familiar voice calling for help sent the biggest wave of terror I have ever felt in my life. I turned my face again to the scene to double-check and widened my eyes in fear.

The villain was holding a girl my age, she had brown hair and rosy cheeks...

'W-wait...No....That c-can't be...' Was the fearful thought I had racing in my head at the moment.

And then she opened her eyes...

It WAS her. Her eyes were filled to the brim with absolute panic, and when her fearful eyes met my terrified ones, she began to tear up. Seeing her only friend turned lover that she had been protecting for 11 years had a look of terror on his face must be a hard sight to see.

Before I could even react, my legs had already moved on their own. I was already sprinting at full speed ahead past the heroes who immediately shouted at me for committing a dangerous and reckless act and to get back to where I was.

I couldn't hear them in the heat of the moment and kept on rushing onward, jumping and vaulting over rubbles that were blocking the way.

'Physical attacks won't work except for the eyes...What can I do?.... That's it!' I widened my eyes and picked up my speed.

~OOO~

3rd Person POV

Izuku yelled out to get the villain's attention. He figured that the villain overheard his talk with his dad so recognizing who he was would shock the villain.

And this plan worked. The villain's eyes widened in shock when it set its eyes onto Izuku's. The villain took a pause, giving him the perfect shot. Izuku grabbed a stone as big as his hand and threw it with all his strength straight at the villain's left eye, making it bleed and permanently blinding it.

Letting out a pain-filled shout, the villain loosened its grip on Ochako and began to swing its arms around in random directions like a flail, destroying even more of the shopping district. Izuku dodged the slimy tendrils relatively easily and kept on rushing towards Ochako who was still in the villain's grasp.

"DEKU!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!! YOU'RE GOING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED!!!" Ochako shouted in panic. Izuku's expression grew angry at her response.

"THAT'S BETTER THAN LETTING YOU DIE, DAMMIT!!" He shouted back while dodging one of its slimy tendrils.

Getting close enough, Izuku grabbed onto Ochako's wrist and managed to pull her away from its slimy grip. Breaking away from the grotesque being who just tried to use her as a skin suit, Ochako quickly picked up her pace and sprinted away as fast as she could with Izuku's hand still gripping her wrist tightly.

Recovering from the great pain it just endured, the villain opened his only good eye left and saw the two teenagers sprinting away. In a great rage, the villain shot out a giant tendril that impaled Izuku right through his stomach.

Suddenly feeling a tug on her wrist and falling to the ground as Izuku's hand falls off of it, Ochako looked back, just to see Izuku, her only friend, the love of her life, who she had spent so many years protecting, had a huge tendril struck through his back and popping out of his abdomen. Blood freely flowing out of his mouth.

Even with all the pain he felt, he still smiled kindly at her, as if nothing happened at all, trying to reassure her that everything was alright.

Sadness seeped into her as she began to tear up. She was devastated to see him so badly hurt, she was panicking about what she was going to do, and she was horrified that if the heroes didn't stop trying to calm down citizens and actually help him, she could end up losing him. Just imagining not being with him in this world was unbearable to her.

Toshinori watched in complete and utter horror that he let something like this happen to his son. Blood flowing subconsciously out of his mouth in shock. He should've acted sooner, but he couldn't. His body wouldn't let him. His own son potentially forfeited his own life just to save his friend.

But as his expression of fear and shock turned into a murderous rage, one civilian shouted something that terrified him to the core.

"SAVE THOSE KIDS!! THE ROOF OF THE BUILDING'S GONNA FALL!!!"

But sadly, the heroes couldn't reach them fast enough because of a fire that exploded from the ground.

Izuku looked up to see the roof of the building near them crumbling. He then looked back at Ochako with a sad smile plastered on his face and caressed her cheek. A single tear fell down his face.

"Looks like I can't keep my promise Ochako..."

Ochako widened her eyes in shock. Her eyes began shaking in fear, fear of what Izuku might do. She shook her head frantically and jumped at him, bawling her eyes out, begging him not to do it.

"NO! DON'T DO IT!! PLEASE, IZUKU DON'T! W-WE CAN S-STILL GET OUT OF H-H-HERE TO-TOGETHER!! I'm begging you...please...don't...I c-can't live without y-you..." She sobbed, clutching her Izuku tightly. The greenette hugged back as lovingly as he could, stroking her head and drawing circles behind her back, wanting to feel her love for the last time.

His life began to flash before his eyes. He remembered all the times when he was happy, all the times he spent with Ochako, and all the times he spent with his family. He felt sad that he's not going to be a hero when he grows up, but he felt happy because at least he dies like one.

He let go of the hug and gazed at Ochako's beautiful brown orb. He put his hands on her face and cupped her cheeks, wiping away her tears. He grew a content smile on his face and said,

"Hey Ochako, tell mom and dad that I won't come home okay?... Tell them that they don't need to be sad, just look up to the sky and I'll be there watching...Tell them that I will always love them no matter what...And Ochako, be a great hero for me...Be the best hero you can be...I'm sorry that I can't be there with you as heroes together...But no matter what, I'm so proud of you...I love you to the moon and back, Ochako..."

The roof began to fall to the ground and the people began to panic.

Izuku kissed Ochako for a quick second and pushed her as far away from danger as he could.

"Goodbye."

It was the last thing Izuku said as the building came crashing to the ground, creating a huge cloud of smoke and dust.

Ochako broke, she fell to her knees, and let out a cry of great pain and anguish that only she could know. Without him, she felt helpless, powerless, weak. The light of her life was taken right in front of her very own eyes. She became a broken mirror, unable to be completely fixed, not without her green-haired lover. She buried her face into her hands as she wept.

The heroes finally arrived at her location and took her away, while some of them fought the sludge villain.

Toshinori clutched his chest, his hollow eyes filled to the brim with tears. He felt regret, pain, and failure eating away his soul. He failed to protect the one he was supposed to protect the most. He failed his duty as a hero and a father. He couldn't even imagine what Inko would react at home.

'I-I'm so s-sorry I-Inko.....Hisashi...I'm a f-failure...'

Back at the shopping center, the heroes were busy dragging the distressed and panicking Ochako, who was screaming for the heroes to put her down as she kicks, smack, and screams at the heroes to let her go so she could go and get Izuku out of the pile of rubble.

"PUT ME DOWN!! I WANNA GET HIM OUTTA THERE!!" Ochako shouted as her accent slipped out, struggling to get out of Backdraft's grasp.

"I'm sorry miss, but you can't go back there." Backdraft replied, sadness in his voice. He felt sorry for her, losing someone dear must be very painful.

"I DON'T CARE! HE COULD STILL BE ALIVE DOWN THERE!! I-" Ochako replied but was cut off by Backdraft.

"Please miss, listen to me. The rubbles can't be lifted by physical strength alone, quirks are needed to lift them. And if you somehow succeed in doing so but by using your quirk, I'm afraid I have to arrest you for illegal quirk usage. But don't worry, as soon as I drop you at the safe zone, I'll immediately get back there to get him out okay?" Backdraft said reassuringly. Ochako gritted her teeth and reluctantly nodded.

Backdraft laid her down at the safe zone and immediately went back into the scene of the crime.

'Please be alive...for me, Izuku....'

~OOO~

Izuku POV

'Did I die?

....

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did.

Where am I? It's different from what I thought the afterlife was like...'

Those are the thoughts that ran through my head as I was standing there all alone in the middle of the street in...

Musutafu?

"T-t-that's mean, k-kacchan! C-can't you s-see she's crying?" A familiar high-pitched voice said, fear clearly displayed by the tone of the voice.

I perked my head in the direction of the voice and followed it just to see the old park where the 4-year old me, Ochako, and Bakugou used to play together.

I stood at the gate, silently observing the commotion, and widened my eyes. I saw a 4-year old me protecting Ochako from Bakugou and his lackeys. I silently chuckled at how scrawny and small I was back then.

"I-i-if you keep going, I-I-I'll never f-forgive y-you!" The little me shouted while taking a fighting stance. He was still shaking in his pants, clearly different from how I am now.

The little explosive gremlin smirked and popped little explosions in his palms, his lackeys joining in on showing off their quirks for intimidating purposes. It worked though because little Izuku's fighting stance dropped and began to whimper.

"Even though you're quirkless..." The little gremlin said, driving his fist into his palm, creating a small explosion.

"You still wanna be a hero, Deku!" He grinned. He and his lackeys rushed at Izuku with their quirks and gave him quite the beatdown.

I stood there, silently watching in the sideline as Bakugou and his lackeys beat the 4-year old me to the ground. I felt something nagging inside my heart, but I didn't know what it was. Was it sadness? Regret? Guilt? Anger? I didn't know. Maybe it was a combination of those said emotions, slowly eating away my soul, leaving me a shell of my former self.

But what was the point of all this?

Was this just to torture me?

Am I in hell?

" N̸̨͔̿͒̓͑͑ō̸͎͓̫̙̥̋̚̚͝.̸̙̲̻͚̠̆͗̆̐͂̎͜ͅ "

It was that voice again. It spoke in my head. Somehow I understood it a little as if it was speaking gibberish combined with Japanese.

The sky darkened, with dark clouds covering it, purple lightning dancing beautifully across the horizon. Somehow, I felt...Anger. It felt like burning fire was raging inside of me, begging for me to let it out and destroy everything.

The sky darkened even more, swirls of storms formed across the sky as the lightning became more rugged and rough. Then, as thunder clapped, the sky became crimson red. The silhouette of the four-horned head appeared looming over me. I felt shivers run down my spine as I stood there petrified in fear.

"Deku! Are you okay??" A voice called. I looked over to see the little Ochako who was sobbing, kneeling next to the beaten-up me. The little me who was lying on the ground looked at her with a kind smile and said,

"What matters is that you're okay Ocha..."

She buried her face in the little Izuku's chest and bawled her eyes out. The little me smiled and patted her head, stroking her hair. She then spoke,

"My hero..."

I smiled at the heartwarming scene. A single tear fell down my face. And the storm calmed down.

'She'll be a great hero, I'm sure of it...' I thought to myself, as the pride I had towards Ochako overcame the fear I was having at that moment.

The voice bellowed to me again. Its tone was somehow driving, yet intimidating at the same time.

"What do you mean power?" I asked, not knowing a single clue of what it meant by 'Power'. I've been powerless all my life, so it's natural to be confused about what powers I have.

But suddenly, I felt a massive surge of power inside of me. It was so overwhelming, the whole world itself shook. I let out a massive shockwave that completely and utterly destroyed the environment around me. Cracks began to form and the ground lifted itself from the sheer force of my power. Black substance appeared on my skin and covered my whole body except for my head. Grey flames came out of it like a raging inferno, towering into the sky. I saw my hair turning pitch black. I didn't know what got into me, but somehow the power felt familiar, it felt like I've had this power my whole life.

It felt amazing.

3rd Person POV

After Ochako was brought down, Toshinori came rushing and enveloped her in a loving hug. She immediately bawled her eyes out, drenching his shirt with her tears. He knows just how much Izuku meant to her for so many years as he spoke to her, trying to calm her down while the heroes battled the sludge villain.

"I'M SO SORRY TOSHINORI! I'm s-so sorry...If I wasn't so w-weak a-and the sludge villain d-didn't catch me he'd still be alive..." Ochako said while bawling her eyes out.

"Young Uraraka...What happene-" Toshinori got caught off by Ochako hugging him even tighter.

"I LOVED HIM! I SPENT S-SO MANY YEARS BY HIS S-SIDE P-PROTECTING HIM! Y-yet I'm the one who did this t-to him!...H-his life is at risk b-because I'm w-weak, stupid, a-and a completely u-useless-"

"OCHAKO URARAKA!" Toshinori caught her off by grabbing her shoulders and shaking her back and forth.

The heartbroken brunette stopped and snapped her head up to look at Toshinori, her tears freely flowing from her eyes that visibly showed the pain within her heart as Toshinori looked down at her, his sunken sapphire eyes also filled to the brim with tears.

"Young Uraraka please, let me finish...What happened wasn't your fault, he risked his life just for you to be safe...He always wanted to be a hero and he finally got the chance to act like one...So please I'm begging you, don't blame yourself...For Izuku's sake..." Toshinori said, sadness clearly visible by the tone of his voice, as he tried to hold back his tears and struggling to not broke down right there on the sidewalk.

The words of her lover's father managed to bring some respite to the brunette but that didn't stop her from feeling powerless, from feeling that she couldn't do a single thing to help the boy she loved and had spent so many years protecting.

The crowd looked at the two with a sad expression plastered on their faces, some of them even cried while witnessing the heartbreaking scene. It must have been very hard for the two of them. Losing someone you loved and cared the most about, no one could even imagine the pain they were experiencing. They decided to leave them be and have their moment of grief.

But then suddenly...

The ground began to shake horribly, nearby buildings began to fall on the ground, and cracks began to form on The Earth's crust. It felt like a mega-earthquake was happening, and it effectively stopped the fight between the heroes and the sludge villain.

"WH-WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!" Death Arms shouted in panic. Some of the heroes ran back to the group of panicking civilians to calm them down and address the situation.

"The meteorologists didn't say anything about a giant earthquake this morning!!" One of the heroes replied while avoiding rubbles that were falling.

Suddenly, they heard a deafening demonic roar that was so bone-chilling, at that moment they all stood petrified, too scared to even move.

"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH"

A giant flash of light exploded from the pile of rubble that Izuku was trapped underneath. The explosion of light was so immense that the people in Japan could see it for miles around. It was that big of a flash. When it died down, Ochako, Toshinori, the heroes, and the group of civilians, along with everyone else in the country looked up and saw a horrifying sight.

They saw a massive pillar made of raging grey flames. It was so volatile, it reached up to the clouds and sent out a massive shockwave, causing serious collateral damage as half of the shopping district became a giant crater. Everyone was sent flying away by the shockwave, but thankfully no one received any major injuries because of the rescue heroes.

Ochako and Toshinori, who only received small scrapes and bruises, were in distress because the massive pillar of flame came from where Izuku was trapped underneath. But then what happened after, shocked them and everyone else to the core.

The pillar finally died down, revealing another crater inside. They all gasped in horror at how much damage there was. And when the dust settled, they all saw something that was so shocking, they all stood there agape, as if they met someone who conquered death itself. While Ochako and Toshinori had an unreadable expression.

On the smaller crater stood a teenager with unruly black hair covering his eyes. He had four dots of freckles in each cheek forming a diamond formation. It dawned on them that this teenager was the same one that saved the girl from the sludge villain. But it seems as his body grew in size.

His clothes were in tatters as if they had been fed to a pack of wolves, showing off his godly body. A black substance covered his skin up to his neck, and the same grey flames that they all saw before came out of it, making him look like a burnt corpse.

He leaned his head upward facing the blue sky and made a hissing sound, similar to the sound a can of gas makes, and white smoke came out of his mouth. He exhaled smoke for a couple of seconds then snapped his head down towards the direction of the sludge villain, who unfortunately was still barely conscious at the other end of the crater, startling it.

He then opened his eyes and gave the sludge villain an intimidating glare, and it sent the biggest feeling of terror everyone there had ever felt.

The pupils of his eyes were bright crimson red, and it was filled to the brim with unbridled rage. It felt as if he was glaring deep into their soul with those intimidating eyes. It sent shivers down their spines and made their blood curdle. They all stood there petrified, too scared to even move an inch. The atmosphere became so thick, everyone seemed to forget how to breathe.

Ochako and Toshinori were so happy, yet so scared at the same time. They were happy beyond belief that their beloved Izuku was still alive, but also utterly terrified of what he had become.

'Izuku...What have you become?' They thought in unison.

The sludge villain was so horrified by the sight, it somehow beyond logic let out a yellow substance from inside of it. Its only good eye was shaking in fear, while also somehow made his whole body which was made out of liquid, frozen as if time had stopped for it.

The flames in Izuku's legs burst and became bigger. He then flew at the speed of sound, leaving a trail of grey flames and huge gusts of wind, towards the sludge villain who could only shake in fear, unable to escape. He suddenly stopped a good 5 meters away from the sludge villain, sending huge gusts of wind towards it. But unfortunately, the sludge villain still managed to keep itself together and not be exploded by the sheer force of the wind.

He then stretched his right arm outwards. Then the flames in his arm began to burst and become bigger until it towers over 5 meters in height. The flames then began to swirl around Izuku's arm and became some sort of gauntlet that covers his whole right arm.

"Disappear." Izuku spoke in a demonic tone.

Izuku drove his gauntlet-covered fist towards the sludge villain, which sent a gargantuan wind pressure that immediately exploded it. The wind pressure was so strong, it completely devastated everything within a radius of 50 meters in front of him, which was the other half of the evacuated shopping district.

After unleashing his devastating attack, his gauntlet disappeared and smoke came out of his mouth as he wobbly tried to stand up straight, with the energy being drained out of his body. While he was halfway covered in smoke and somehow without anybody noticing, his body began to shrink in size back to the way it was before.

Everyone on the other side became jaw-dropped in astonishment and fear. A few moments ago they had just witnessed this kid being struck in the abdomen and crushed by a roof of a building. And now apparently he came back to life and defeated the sludge villain, who gave the pro heroes a hard time to deal with, by a single punch. Not only that, he completely and utterly DESTROYED the whole Tatooine Shopping District.

Toshinori looked at his son with a smile, both a worried and proud smile. He was proud that his son, quote on quote, manifested his quirk after all and used it to save his childhood friend, who had the will to protect him for so long. He was worried that his devastating power could end up leading him down a terribly dark path, seeing how destructive his 'quirk' awakening was.

All the while, Ochako was completely baffled, worried, happy, and proud that He finally manifested his 'quirk' after all. Now his dream of becoming a hero can be even more possible. She began to tear up and wore a proud smile towards her green-haired lover.

But the smiles of both Toshinori and Ochako had instantly vanished as Izuku suddenly went limp and collapsed onto the ground, sliding down to the center of the crater.

"IZUKU!!!"

To be continued.
