After the church was obliterated, the capital was in chaos as an army began to mobilize. Rumors were flying like crazy and the army left in the direction of Zaellis' new country.

I figured most people knew that the spear was thrown by a demon that was not Azemo, but maybe Azemo was hiding near Zaellis' territory. The spear was especially frightening because it proved that there were more demons. For the longest time it was common knowledge amongst the humans that Azemo was the only demon left, but the spear was obviously not his.

The government tried to say that the spear was his weapon, but even the common folk sensed a different presence in the power.

The days after were filled with panic as no one knew when the next spear strike would take place. The spear was like an atomic bomb in the minds of the citizens and there were all sorts of drills to avoid the next attack.
