Chapter 8 :ACCUSATIONS

ARIA'S POV～

 I groan loudly and get up from the uncomfortable position in which I had slept in, After tending to my boss all night I decided to just lie down near the man incase he starts feeling sick again.

 The fever has reduced and even his burnibg temprature is now ok,yawning from the lack of proper sleep Ivwalk towards the door to go get him breakfast.

 My phone starts ringing and I raise up the device to see that it is a call from julian.

 ''Hey''I answer my voice and slightly hoarse from just waking up.

 ''Hi Ria,is he ok now''Julian asks and I can already hear the worry in his voice which makes me smile slightly.

 Being panicked about my boss's health I quickly called Julian who helped to call a doctor.

 ''Yeah he is,are you coming over''I ask him. From how concerned he sounds I think he might want to see his elder arrogant brother.

 ''Nope,I have something to take care of in thw office''He replies and I tell him 'ok' in understanding.

 Now that my boss is going to miss the office it's best if julian takes care of everything there.

 After talking for sometime I say my goodbyes and end the call before entering the kitchen,thankfully the chef is already there and by the heavenly scent in the kitchen I know breakfast is ready.

 ''Good morning mark''I greet the chef who turns and smiles at me.

 ''Good morning Aria,did you just arrive''The man asks and soon starts giving orders to the others present in the room.

 ''Ah no,but please do arrange the food I'll be taking it upstairs''I tell him and he nods before turning to look at the maids who instantly get to work.

 When they are done arranging the food I start pushing the trolley aong towards the elevator in the house.

 I press the button and soon it opens up at his floor and I push it slowly towards the room.

Opening the door I am met with the sight of my boss sittong up on the bed his back resting on the headboard.

 His eyes carried this intense dangerous gaze as he looks at me,I suddenly start feeling uncomfortable under his intence stare but clear my throat and walk into the room.

 ''Good morning sir''I greet and he just continues starring at me with replying and I turn away to grab the small table with which I can arrange the food for his properly on the bed.

 ''You took care of me last night''The man asks and I turn to face him,his deep voice carried a hint of disbelief and I can already see something swimming in his orbs.

 ''Hmm yes sir''I answer the man and start placing the food on the table in front of him.

 ''You gave me the drugs?''He asks again and at the mention of drugs I intantly clear my throat the plate of food shaking from my trembling hands.

 Remembering the way in which I hadto give this sturbbon man his drugs I almost glare at him with his annoying questions.

 ''I-yes I did sir''I answer again and his eyes darken at the words sir which makes me furrow my brows at his reaction.

 What is wrong with this man.

 ''Are you aware that you took advantage of a sick man Aria''The man asks and his voice turns deep and serious,I look closely at the attractive but annoying man and see a hint of amusement in his eyes.

 ''I was helping a sick cry baby sir''I answer and he lets out a growl at my words and I quickly shut my mouth remembering he is still my boss.

 ''Who is a cry baby''He asks and sits on the bed properly which makes my eyes widen.

 ''Nobody sir, sorry please have your breakfast''I say and move the table containing food closer to him.

 ''Come and eat''He suddenly says and my eyes widen.

 I am honestly puzzled by this man's behaviour and I wonder if the illness messed with his brain.

''Thank you sir''I reply politely but the arrogant man glares at me and points at the bed and I instantly sit down before dragging the plate of food towards me.

 ''How are my getting compensated''My boss asks suddenly and I raise my eyes to meet his blue orbs.

 Tucking the loose strand of blonde hair behind my ear I look at him confused.

 ''I don't understand sir''I say and place a grape in my mouth,his next words however makes me choke on the fruit.

''You kissed me Aria my lips are precious'' When he utters those words I start coughing immediately and start hitting my chest to get rid of the burning in my chest.

 Tears gather in my eyes from me choking on that delicious grape and I wish I can just strangle this man right now.

 ''Here''He says and hands me a glass of water, After collecting the water I sip slowly and raise my head to look at him.

 ''I am really sorry for kissing your very very precious lips sir''I tell him the irritation and sarcasm clear in my voice.

 He smirks amd continues eating his food acting nonchalant and I roll my eyes at him.

 'What an asshole'
