Isaac couldn't sleep well that night after signing the loan contract. Every time he drifted off into slumber, he'd wake up in an instant remembering the events that happened earlier that day. The idea that he was selling himself to strangers for money bothered him greatly. Not only did it break the law, it was also immoral. The fact that he was doing it for his family made it worse somehow. But he couldn't just walk away, could he? What would happen if his business failed? Would the bank repossess his home and belongings? How would he support himself and his sister financially in that case?
