"You can at least give me the courtesy of listening to him explain why he wants your help...so that you'll understand how badly he needs a favor from someone else instead of relying solely on us for financial support," Alex advised his sister in an attempt to persuade her to change her mind about refusing to listen. "Mom has already offered to loan him part of the money that he owes his creditors, but that won't cover all of his debts since they're spread out amongst twenty different companies..."
