Barbie Coles, orphaned by tragedy, faces betrayal and hardship. Desperate to care for her little brother, she takes a difficult job. Mark Jordan, a wealthy and indifferent man, enters her life. Their worlds collide, and secrets come to light, threatening Barbie's fragile stability. Will Mark's discovery of her job ruin their connection? Can Barbie find acceptance in Mark's family, and will the truth about her parents' death destroy her world?
"What do you want, Mark?" Barbie yelled, her glare piercing as she confronted him.
Mark remained silent, his eyes lingering on her towel as he smirked. Barbie, sensing his inappropriate gaze, instinctively held her towel tighter.
"Eyes up here, scumbag," she snapped, her frustration evident as Mark licked his lips, unfazed.
"Nah, I prefer to keep it down," Mark admitted casually, leaning on the door with a smirk.
"Please leave, I'm busy," Barbie pleaded, attempting to close the door. However, Mark extended his leg, blocking the door from shutting.
Frowning, Barbie persisted, but Mark pushed the door forcefully, causing her to stumble and her towel to loosen.
"Uhm, I'm sorry," Mark apologized, looking away from the unintended situation.
Barbie, tightening her towel, glared at him with rage. "Get out!" she yelled.
"Calm your voice, babygirl," Mark covered his ears against the intensity of her shout.
