At Empire City
Jacob was seething in fury. He picked up the vase on the table inside his study and tossed it against the wall, breaking it in the process. Scarlett and Collins stood far away from him watching him thrash the study.
Scarlett looked scared while Collins held a glass of wine in his hand and sipped it as calmly as possible as if he was in a different room. He was the one who delivered the news of Melody's departure to Jacob and intentionally came so late in the day because he just wanted to see his father like this.
"How was it possible?" Jacob yelled he punched the seat that he was meant to sit and it fell to the ground and then he kicked it. He cursed a few times and found another thing in the room to throw.
