Chapter Ten

IVY'S POV.

"Wait sir,I can explain"I said to him but his attitude towards me didn't change at all.he was still staring at me with a cold expression which sent shivers down my spine.

"How did you feel when you made a fool out of me,tell me how it feels to rob and deceive someone,did it make you feel like you are smart?"he said to me moving towards me, crossing the gap between us with every step he takes but I kept moving backwards until my back touched the wall.

He placed his hands on the wall trapping me in a corner.my heart kept beating fast as I was forced to look into his sea blue eyes.he moved his face close to mine,our face was just inches apart.I could feel his hot breath piercing into my skin sending shivers down my spine.My eyes went to his pink lips which was so arousing,I licked my lips unconsciously ,damn,this man was so handsome.I knew I was in a tough situation and I wasn't supposed to be thinking about this kind of stuffs but I couldn't help but admire him.

"I asked a question,how does it feel to fool someone?"his voice kicked me out of my stupid thoughts.

I looked at his sea blue eyes which had no emotions in it.it was just cold.

"As far as I can remember,you are not deaf and you are not dump either,I am not talking to statue"he raised his voice at me and I jolted in fear.

"I am so sorry, please forgive me"I apologized immediately.I knew I was guilty.

"Did I hear you say sorry?sorry is not enough for what you did"he said to me.

"But that's the only thing I could offer now"I replied him and he let out a cold laughter.

"Why don't you pay me back right now"he said to me and I gulped.

"Are you suddenly dump?"he asked me.

"I am sorry sir but I don't have the money with me now"I said to him Hoping that he would mercy on me but I was wrong.he grabbed me on my neck.

"Do I look like I give a damn?"he said to me squeezing my neck.

"Please sir"I pleaded struggling for air but he didn't listen.my feet was swept off from the ground as he held my neck tightly,tears rolled down my cheeks as I thought of what would become of my father if I died.

As if he knew what I was thinking,he let go of me immediately and I fell on my butts, gasping for breath.

He went back to his chair, pouring himself a glass of liquor.he gulped it down before pouring himself another one.he looked at me.

"Killing you is not enough for what you did to me"he said to me, twirling the glass cup in his hands.

"What should I do with you?"came his voice.

"I think I should torture you slowly"

"Destroying your pretty face, plucking your eyes off, cutting your tongue off and feeding it to the dogs would be enough to appease my anger"he said to me and goosebumps appeared on my body.I could feel beads of sweat appearing on my forehead.

I walked towards him using my knees,I hit my head on the ground.

"Please forgive me,I am really sorry,I didn't mean to deceive you,please forgive me"I said to him ,tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Enough"he said to me.

"Stand up"he said and I stood up immediately.

"Why do you think I should forgive you?"he asked me,this time he had a calm expression, maybe he was feeling sorry for me already.

"You are rich already and I know that the money I took from you is nothing to you,so what is the use of tainting your hands with my blood,besides I am sorry for what I did, everyone deserves a second chance"I said to him.

"I am rich doesn't change the fact that you made a fool out of me,do I really deserve what you did to me?"he asked me.

"That's why I am apologizing,I know I wronged you and I am sorry about it"I said to him.

"I have heard you but don't try this again with another person"he said to me.

"Does that mean you have forgiven me?"I asked him.

"Don't you want me to forgive you?"he asked me.

"Thank you so much sir"I said to him.

"You can go now,my P.A will show you your office and tell you everything you need to know"he said to me and I smiled.I was very happy.

I was filled with guilt ever since I robbed him,I am glad we finally met each other again and I get to apologize to him.I left his office immediately with happiness.

THIRD PERSON POV.

Meanwhile after Ivy left, Leon gulped down the liquor in his glass in one go.he had so many plans in store for her.

Does she think that a sorry would make him forget what she did?she must be dreaming if she thought he would let her be,he was not that merciful,he doesn't forgive people easily,he didn't want people to take him for granted,she must pay for what she did to him,this was just the beginning.

He picked his phone and dialed Dave's number.

"Come to my office now"he said to him before ending the call.

Soon,Dave arrived in his office.

"Have you shown her the office"Leon asked.

"Yes sir"Dave replied.

"I want you to run a background check on her,I want to know everything single details about her"Leon said to Dave who nodded.

"Okay sir"he replied before leaving.
