"Wanna play hide and seek?" Valentino enquired. He pushed me down after I nodded.

"You should go first," I advised.

"Excellent. Shut your eyes and count backwards from 20. Myrah, don't cheat," he said.

"I don't cheat," I shot back, tipping his nose while standing on my tiptoes. Valentino took me by the waist and put his body against mine. He brought his lips to mine and tasted my mouth. I was totally dependent on him.

I turned, closing my eyes, and covered them with my hands when he released me. I began to count aloud until I reached twenty.

"And twenty!" I yelled and took my hands out of my eyes. I'd heard nothing from him, not even a move. He was incredibly cunning. "Ready or not, here I come!" I joyfully yelled one more time. This was a game I was usually good at.
