As they went back to the house, Anthony greeted her, but he frowned, "Why are you soaked in the rain?" he asked worriedly, but Lauren smiled at him.
"Don't worry. I enjoyed it so much! I am loving it so much!"
Anthony looked at her, "Are you sure you're fine?" he asked her, and Lauren gave him a broad smile with a nod.
The next day, Lauren meets with Noah and Megan to talk about business. She will also say that she will build her own company.
As she walked towards Noah's office, she could feel each of the employees' eyes on her. She walked confidently so as not to show that she was nervous. She was at the door when she saw Noah and Megan so happy together while they're talking.
She stopped as she remembered how they used to be. She looked away and only looked at her sandals. Lauren didn't know if she was still affected every time she saw the two of them happy while she was struggling.
