A knock on his room door made Diego cut the call he was on, and looked forward to see his mother walk into the room carrying two glasses and a wine in her hand, while raising it up to him. A gesture for him to drink with her.
Ever since he left home for three days, not that it was his intentions not to tell her that he's okay, but he wasn't given the liberty to do that in the situation he found himself, and he knew that she was hurt, by his actions.
"How was work today?" Joanna asked, sitting doom on a couch, while watching Diego keep his phone on the table before coming to sit down beside her.
"Ofcourse it was tiring, and for the fact that Giovanni is there too, let's just say that i think i'm wasting my time there, the old man would give everything to the favorite grandson." He said, deeply hurt at the observation he found.
