"Hi!", " hey!", "can I come up?", " Yeah, you can, the door will be open as I'll still be in the kitchen!", Audrey said before Lucas cut the call.
As he requested, he went to Audrey's apartment with mixed feelings, wondering what her reaction would be as he had confessed to his feelings the day before.
"Why are you cooking this much?!", Lucas asked with a smile, the one reserved for her, he smiled like that just so he wouldn't make Audrey comfortable.
"Cause you were coming over!", Audrey said, dropping a plate by the counter. " And I've not had anything for breakfast yet!", Lucas said sitting on the barstool, waiting for Audrey to come sit beside him.
"Did you sleep well?!", Lucas asked, noticing that Audrey was trying to avoid eye contact with him. " I did, I slept well!", Audrey said lying, as she didn't stop tossing and turning throughout the night.
Lucas immediately knew she was lying, her eyebags were more apparent when she came to sit right beside him.
Audrey was well aware of his presence, she could feel his constant stare raking her whole body. She didn't even know what to say, something that had never happened since they started dating.
She was starting to savour the sweetness of the food when suddenly, Lucas pulled her with the stool, and then embraced her with his arms.
Unexpectedly, all her muscles which were tensed suddenly calmed down. She felt even relaxed when she felt his strong arms wrapping around her waist.
"We should talk this out…!", Lucas suggested, his arms still wrapped around Audrey. " I love you Audrey and I won't force you to say it back!", Lucas said, pulling from the hug.
"I just want you to know Audrey, and you don't need to beat yourself about it!", Lucas said.
"Tell me you'll not think about it for now?!", Lucas said, indulging Audrey. "But I don't need to think about it!", Audrey added ,finally deciding to confess how she felt.
On hearing her reply, Lucas was a bit hurt because even if he wanted her not to think about it, he didn't expect her answer to be that blunt.
His face quickly contorted due to Audrey's reply, something she quickly took heed to and tried to erase. " No, no, I didn't mean it that way, it's just that I feel the same!", Audrey said, rushing her words.
"You feel the same?!", Lucas asked even if he clearly knew what she meant, teasing her, he continued, " I don't understand!".
"Cut it out!!", Audrey said, the evident blush on her face as she was sure Lucas knew what she was talking about.
" I mean that, I love you too!", Audrey finally said as she bent her head, avoiding eye contact.
When she didn't hear anything from Lucas after a long while, she raised her head to look at Lucas, but she was engaged in a soul warming kiss.
Souls interconnecting with each other as they kissed themselves senselessly. Lucas pulled from the kiss as he suspected that Audrey was running out of breath.
"We should go(kiss), or else(kiss), we would be late (kiss)!!", Audrey said as Lucas pecked her lips. " Yeah, we should go!!", Lucas agreed before he wrapped his arms around Audrey.
On their way from Audrey's place to the office, There was a huge contrast in the air around them, far different from the one around them the previous night when Lucas dropped her at home.
While Audrey's face was flushed and this beautiful was plastered on her face, Lucas couldn't even keep his hands to himself as his right hand held on to Audrey's left hand.
They got to the office soon after, Lucas finally letting her leave the car after they shared another kiss.

"I'll be back later!", Emily said descending the stairs in their duplex apartment, " Fine, don't stay out for too long!", Tessa yelled back from the sitting room as she was busy catching up with her favourite Netflix series.
Tessa laid in the coach, wearing a sweatshirt and shorts, a blanket covering her as she watched the series. Tessa had no idea where or why Emily was going out, such a decision she was going to regret later.
Emily smiled as she left the apartment, wearing nothing but a very revealing dress, Emily left the house with one intention, to get Lucas for nobody but herself.
She got to Walton Globals headquarters, walking in like she owned the place. Emily always enjoyed the amount of attention she got when she was out, and as expected, the staff at Walton Globals couldnt help but stare at the famous class A model who now 'graced the company with her presence' more times than usual.
She entered the elevator, headed straight for the top most floor, setting her plans in motion.
Just like the attention she got when she walked from the main door to the elevator, the attention wasn't foreign to her either when she walked out of the elevator and headed to Lucas's office.
Just when she was about entering his office, who she categorised as the pesky assistant who always annoyed her showed up right in front of her.
"How can I help you ma'am?!", Craig asked as he pushed his glasses up. "I'm not here for you so scream and go continue your work!", Emily said, annoyed that Craig even tried to stop her.
Instantly understanding what she meant, Craig said, " I'm sorry ma'am, but do you have an appointment?", He asked even when he was well aware that she didn't have any sort of appointment.
Emily was already getting agitated, but she was bent on carrying out her plan and she was sure nothing could stop her, not even the pesky assistsnt.
"I don't have an appointment, but I want to go inside to see my friend!", Emily said. " I'm sorry ma'am but you don't have an appointment, so I can't let you go ahead ma'am!", Craig said, already annoyed, Emily was already getting on his nerves.
