Lucky to marry her

Mother Li face beamed with happiness as soon as she heard him say he will get married to Xiaoxi. She knew this is all wrong, forcing her own son against his wish.

But she really didn't have any other choice to save both Li Jie and Xiaoxi from their pasts.

As a mother she really wished her son would get married and have company with him when he grows old.

Hugging his wife's shoulder who is all happy tears father Li said " Stop thinking too much, You are a great mother and don't worry he will definitely like Xiaoxi. Please dont cry i cant bear to see you like this darling."

"Chen i am really happy. Finally, my son is getting married and he will have someone by his side . Even though i am forcing him now, he will definitely be happy with Xiaoxi"-said mother Li wiping her tears.

Li Jie room:

Everything is pitch black in the room, the windows are closed, curtains are drawn. No one can see a man lying on the bed.

Li jie was in deep thoughts about the decision he just made. He is not sad because of the pain he suffered. He just blames himself for trusting those people and allowing them to play around with his feelings.

Although Li Jie loved Tang wei with all his heart, he knew somewhere in his heart that this is not what love feels like. There was no sparks between them, no chemistry, no nothing between them. While he was in deep thoughts there was a knock on door and without waiting for his reply the door creaked open and Li Yan entered the room.

Switching on the lights, " Brother, What are you thinking about?  "- Li Yan asked looking at Li jie who was lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

Without waiting for his reply, Li Yan said something that perked Li Jie's interest.

"I was curious about why mother is continuously forcing you to meet this woman for the past one month. So, I asked my men to look into her background.

After looking at the information my men gathered, I feel like her character is pretty much the same as yours. her situation is also similar to you.

She gave her everything to her Ex, supported him to build his career even though her parents didn't like him and got cheated on.

The only difference is you did get rid of them and she is still trying to get rid of them.

Bro, she has gone through the same pain or maybe worst than you have. But she is strong enough to face them. After listening to her information, i even agree with mom that you are made for each other.

She is so caring and attentive to her family and friends just like you are.

Listening to his brother who is all naughty and mischief talking seriously about her, Li Jie found it rather surprising. despite being brothers they never talked about women and their dating life.

But this time, its all different. Everyone in the family seems to like her very much including this monkey. This piqued interest of Li Jie in this woman.

After telling what he has come for, Li Yan stood up to leave. " Yan , whats her name?" asked Li Jie before Li Yan could leave the room.

Smiling at his brother Li Yan told him "Zhang Xiaoxi" and turned to leave.

holding the door knob, he turned back and said " and bro she is a model under Sun Entertainment."

After Li Yan left, thinking about everything that happened in the day and how his life is going to change from tomorrow Li Jie dozed off to sleep.

Mother Li room:

Looking at his grumpy husband, Mother Li knew what was wrong with him so he went to coax her husband.

"Hubby, i was just threatening Li jie so that he could get married. That was all a white lie. Why would you take it to heart." Explained mother Li

" Even if it's a lie, my heart hurts when you say you will go find another man leaving me. I feel like you don't love me anymore" pointing towards his heart father Li Sulked.

Knowing where this is leading, Mother Li tried to stop " Look at you, you are already at the age of becoming grandfather but still behaving like a baby"

Frowning "what is this all about becoming old, believe me when i say i can give Jie and Yan a brother/sister to play in 9 months. Do you want me to prove it?" - Father Li asked raising his eyebrows.

blushing at her husbands shameless words Mother Li turned around to sleep ignoring Father Li.

Getting into the quilt, Father Li wrapped his hands around mother Li's waist and said-" Lets go on a long vacation after Jie gets married. I want to spend some alone time with you"

" No way, don't even think about taking me away from my daughter in law for the next few years. I need to take care of her and make sure that stupid son of ours don't bully her."- Mother Li warned her husband.

"But if our son doesn't bully her, how are you gonna get a grand child huh? Our sons were born when i bullied you isn't it?- said father Li teasingly.

"Shameless!!! sleep now, i need to get preparations done tommorow to get our son out of his single status" said mother Li

"Good night darling" Father Li kissed Mother Li lovingly on her cheek and both of them dozed off to sleep cuddling each other.

Thinking tomorrow is going to change all their lives, everyone slept happily.

Bringing love and trust into Li Jie's  life. Bringing a feeling of having a daughter in to the Li parents life. Bringing a sisters affection into Li Yan's life.
